East Austin Hotel

Conveniently located, well appointed, cozy, spacious pool side room. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The only complaint is with the rooms water pressure in the shower. A dribble at best. We didn’t bother voicing this concern as we only used the shower once and had the pool as a cool down method. Other than that this place was great!

Stayed just one night and it exceeded expectations. Spot was accessible to lots of great spots to eat, but also had a great restaurant/bar. I was really impressed with the bartenders depth of knowledge and their offer to personalize drinks. Also some of the most interesting conversations we’ve had in a while- they were hilarious. The room was real cute, bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable, and spacious enough for both of our suitcases to fully open and not be in the way at all. Outdoor bar and pool make us want to come back in the summertime. But the wide side doors made for easy access/exit for guests to hop right into our uber or down the street to get a drink. Only thing keeping it from five stars is that we could hear everything in our room, and also it was just one of the coldest days of the years so I won’t criticize how cold the room was because that’s definitely beyond their control, but the shower also didn’t get very hot so my husband and I both shivered through it. Maybe because it’s open ceiling so the steam doesn’t stay in? Not sure but we were cold. All in all, a great spot. Also can’t express enough how cold it was in Austin today (20 degrees but “feels like 9”) so I partially understand. Just wish the water was hotter. Will definitely be returning next time we’re in town though. Also very affordable for the quality.

Great location, service was awesome, cute rooms, has everything you need. Stayed for one night and the price was great. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was bc we had a roach in the restroom and we just freak out with bugs in general lol but overall it was nice and cozy

Stayed at this hotel for one night and had an excellent experience! The location is fantastic, surrounded by great bars and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, from wonderfully fragrant body wash and shampoo to cozy bathrobes and slippers. The decor was charming and added to the overall ambiance. Parking options included a garage for a fee or convenient street parking. I also appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly—a big plus! My only minor disappointment was that the pool wasn’t heated, but that didn’t overshadow the overall experience. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay.

Very nice rooms for a pet friendly hotel. Well appointed rooms with nice furnishings and fixtures. Very quiet and peaceful. Great location for moody center concerts and downtown activities. Lots of restaurants walkable nearby. Very friendly staff. Parking is easy and secure, was $34 for 24 hours. Reasonable pet fee. We will definitely stay here again, with or without pets. Only 2 minor things we would suggest. Hot water was not quite hot enough for a hot shower, I like it hot. The bed corners were sharp and a little tough on the shins, bumpers would help.

We were in town for a wedding and this was one of two choices. Our room was really nice! I'm not a fan of the open style bathroom (sliding doors and half walls that do not provide sufficient privacy), but it was OK for a few days. Housekeeping was attentive and did a great job with daily service. We faced the street and would have loved a sheer curtain behind the room curtain so we could let more natural light in. The pool area and bar were very nice and staff were helpful! The location was walking distance to some great coffee places and nightlife.

Three night stay. We were impressed with the location. Close to the local fun zone and only a short walk to get downtown. Nice layout. Our room was a bit noisy due to being closest to the elevator and right next to the landing door which slammed every time someone went through. Also a bit of noise from above. We will come back again but will perhaps get one of the rooms with a pool balcony for fresh air.
