Hyatt Regency Baytown – Houston

My wife and I were very pleased with the service we received. The room was clean and well designed. We loved the bathroom fixtures, closet and storage spaces. Being right off the highway, made it easy to find and parking was a breeze. It was about 40 minutes away by highway to our cruise ship (Royal Carribean). It would be nice to have a Hyatt closer.

The hotel was very nice and our experience was great! Everyone that we dealt with were kind and courteous. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and well taken care of! We appreciated the upgraded touches in the room (motion sensor lights under the bed were very helpful at night).

I live in the same city, so this was a much needed staycation. The hotel room was very high end, and the restaurant was a great experience. I highly recommend their crispy skin salmon dish. Also, go down to the marina (a few steps away) for an amazing view and relax a little.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The breakfast was fantastic, our server George at breakfast was also fantastic! The general manager, Alex answered my email prior to arrival and was extremely helpful. We would stay here again. The hotel was very clean. We stayed in a suite and it was very nice.

Very clean rooms, plenty of parking, great views of marina. And Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. Hotel itself is beautiful.Attentive staff.Lovely lounge area drinks are top notch.My only complaint had nothing to do with hotel, but came in on a windy day and crossed the bridge near there and will gladly go 50 miles out of the way to not do that again!

I traveled for a work conference. Conference area was spacious. Staff kept the area clean the entire conference. I arrived the night before and enjoyed socializing, a small meal, and drinks at the bar after checking in. Mobile check in is convenient. The bar area is cozy with places to lounge, as well as bar seating and tvs. There is outdoor seating too. Staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are modern and comfortable...from a clock embedded into the bathroom mirror to a perfect sized mini fridge. Great bed, bathroom amenities, and shower. The view of the water from the 4th floor was nice. Would stay again 100%!

We came to spend the night on thanksgiving with my family. We paid extra $25 to have the water view. There is coffeeshop inside the hotel, their coffee was so good. The hotel was a luxurious and tranquil escape, offering an exceptional experience. The rooms were generously sized, contemporary, and impeccably maintained, creating a peaceful haven after a day of adventure. The staff stood out for their warmth and attentiveness, always eager to help with a cheerful demeanor. It’s a little far from all the shops but it was worth the drive.

This hotel is a great business-travel hotel, but if I were self-paying I'd be disappointed. PROS: - Rooms are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable - TVs have Chromecast so you can stream (though be aware, I got hit with a $15 "movie charge" so it may not be free) - Quiet location with free parking CONS: - I booked a "Water view" room which apparently can face the north (not the bay) as well since you can technically see water, so just be aware of that - Communication was disappointing; AT CHECK-IN I was told for the first time there would be no water at all from Midnight to 5 am; if you can't provide a room with something like running water, that should have been communicated well before I checked in. Also if the streaming is a cost, there should be an acknowledgment somewhere (see above) - Haphazard housekeeping service; on the first night they came to clean at 4:45 pm the next day. On the second night, I got woken up at 7:30 am for cleaning. I understand they have busy schedules but the hotel was maybe 1/4 full, so getting to the rooms should not have been difficult during midday hours. - Location is secluded and quiet but that also means you have to drive a distance to get to any food or services Overall the hotel is nice, but the service was not up to par; if it wasn't a business trip I would not stay here again.
