TownePlace Suites Big Spring

The hotel itself is nice. We stayed in a suite and it was very convenient. Only thing I would definitely complain about is they say they are pet friendly, yet they didn’t even have a green area for my dog to go to the bathroom on. They only had rocky areas. Also, they charge $100 for a pet. We stayed for 1 night and that just seems excessive considering we weren’t even there for 12 hrs.

I had very low expectations when we stopped here for the night with three kids on the way to New Mexico. I was pleasantly surprised. The room is very clean and spacious, and the staff are some of the kindest people I’ve met. Thank you for the milk at midnight for my kiddos!!

The staff here are very nice and give Excellent customer service! Angie, front desk staff had some of the best customer service. Due to driving in West TX with terrible cell service, she made my reservation without a credit card number since she could not hear me after several tries. The hotel needs renovation. The pet rooms were tired and had carpeting despite the $100 pet fee. Not one dog bag at the pet stations. I carry bags but wanted to get something for the additional $100 pet fee. My first room had a broken air conditioner with sopping wet floor and my second room had a strong musty, wet smell but it was already late and too tired to ask for a third room. This hotel is in an Excellent, safe location but it is the most dingy and first Marriott property that did Not meet my expectations. Despite Not liking the Hilton values...their pet friendly hotels charge $75, have fully stocked dog stations, no carpets in the pet friendly rooms and sometimes give a pet welcome package of a nice doggy bag holder, treat and toy. Hilton pet friendly rooms have not let me down yet but I'd prefer to give my business to Marriott when I can. For $100 pet fee, at least have your pet rooms to the standards of a typical Marriott!

Im a regular, depending on work schedule, nice to have a hotel with a bar but one of the bar tenders (delila) spends most of her time on her phone and close up early (8:30) all the time, sence she dont pay atention to her customerd it works out for the better I guess

I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice as well as the lobby. It’s right off 20 with easy access. Convenient location.

Currently at the hotel going on day 3. Look the place and rooms and service is nothing for out of towners working it’s just a sleeping hold. But the internet for work and emails are the important thing and it sucks… barely to any internet for the price they charge. It’s crazy…

Our room was great and spacious. There was amix-upp with our early check-in, and Laurence was very helpful and fixed the problem quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: "" Negative: After asking 2 clerks for a late check out and was told 2 pm was ok. I was disturbed 3 times by housekeeping. After working nights and a 12 hr shift . This disturbing was unacceptable.
