Spiders! Spiders! Spiders! And more spiders! So many spiders! The cottages are not so bad but the 200's row is full of spiders and the hot water smells like rotten eggs so I just took cold showers. The maintenance guys are great and very responsive. They fixed my fridge and ac. 3 stars for having a good maintenance team and the cottages were not that bad.

I have rented a cabin here for the last two years for Work. I love it here. The rooms are always kept very clean, and The staff is friendly and professional. They just recently reopened the restaurant, highly recommend this place if you’re out of town working, or just want to get away.

The staff and cleaning crew were always very helpful and friendly. The restaurant on site was good and quick. Be aware that t-mobile service out here was not existent but t-mobile has admitted that they have a tower with mechanical issues waiting to be repaired in the area.

We have stayed at Double C in the past, but usually in an RV site. This time when we visited the area, we decided to stay in a lodge. It was priced much less than the hotels in the area. Hotels are currently charging $250-$300 per night and that's the cheapest you'll find. Our lodge had one room and bathroom, and also included a mini fridge and microwave. It's basically set up like a hotel room except they don't provide soap/body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or Kleenex. Also, no iron. The bed has sheets and a blanket and towels are provided. The room itself was a little humid, even with the A/C running, but it wasn't real bad. The TV is located against the wall so you'll need to tilt it out to watch. We're just happy to have a room that's not super expensive. I have two suggestions for Double C. The shower door leaks. It has some sort of edging on it that collects water, so when you open the door, it leaks water everywhere. Either shorten or get rid of that edging or provide a wider and thicker bath mat. Our bath mat was soaked everyday. I'm sure we could have asked for a replacement, but we're not that needy. We just hung the bath mat to somewhat dry it. Again, just a suggestion. The second suggestion would be to install wifi boosters. The wifi is super slow and often cuts out. If your personal cell phone gets any bars at Double C, you're better off creating a hotspot for your laptop or other device. I would not rely on their wifi to do work related things. Double C has cottages with two and three beds and some with kitchenettes. Availability obviously varies on a daily basis. They don't do reservations online. Call to get information. Overall, we had a nice time. Staff is nice. It's reasonably priced. Wildlife pretty cool to see on the property. We would stay here again.

My family and friends stayed here while with the Pipline. The facility it self is great! Has everything you need. Washing and drying is free while you stay. The ponds are stock well for children and adult fun. The cleaning and outside work crew (very underpaid) do an awesome job keeping the place clean, and very sweet people. Wildlife is relaxing to sit and watch. The pool- eek. I don’t think they clean it, much. However, hope you don’t have to deal with the office staff. The park rules are not clearly stated, And change daily. They are very dude. Jamie in the office is rude to woman and children. Over all I would not stay here again.

I recently had the opportunity to stay here from 3/23-3/29/19. Overall the place is very nice, the cabin was clean, well furnished and up to date. However I do have several concerns and disappointments.||||1.On the day of check in I noted the bed and headboard were not connected in any way. I brought this to the attention of the gentleman on duty who wrote it on a legal pad with other maintenance issues and assured me it would be taken care of on Monday. It was never addressed during my stay.||||2. the current website clearly shows two very different eating facilities: one with a hunting theme , the other with more typical restaurant theme. The site also proclaims a catering service, Apollo Global catering, || || Booked.net talks about free fitness classes and gym as well as free breakfast served every morning. || When I inquired of Bobby, regarding these things, she told me the catering company had left and there were no replacements in the works, Regarding the gym/fitness facilities, she stated those had been removed quite some time ago and no plans to replace.||||3..When I checked in,I advised the young man at the desk I had a registered and certified service dog who would be staying with me. He told me that pets were not allowed. I told that him Roscoe is not a pet, he is a service dog and produced all appropriate documentation. He seemed unsure of what to do in this situation. I advised him to contact his supervisor for assistance, which he did and then made a copy of Roscoe's ID card.||I walked Roscoe on his leash as requested but noted several dogs on the grounds who were not on a leash .||||On Wednesday of my stay, I received a text message stating:|| Good afternoon,||I was told to inform you that Housekeeping would be entering your room (121) on a daily basis to inspect the room for any damages your dog may have done and or signs of you dog not being housebroken. ||Also your Service Dog is not allowed to be left in your room unattended for a period not to exceed more than 2 hours and if it is necessary to do so the dog must be in a kennel.||I also need to remind you that at no time is your dog allowed outside without being on a leash.||Please feel free to call the office if you have any questions.||Thank you,||Bobbie ||Double C Office||||I am not sure why this was sent and why she would feel the need to perform any of the mentioned actions. If a dog is indeed properly certified and registered as a service animal, then obviously the animal would be extremely well behaved and of course house broken, As for the time left alone, I am not sure how anyone would have known he was alone unless they entered the room without my knowledge, I did place the do not disturb hanger on the door, which evidently is not respected There is nothing mentioned in the Rules/Policy handout regarding the time alone in the room or need for kenneling, .||||4. Several of my co-workers stayed here during the same time and were treated poorly by Bobby and the housekeeping staff. ||||5. The laundry facility experienced a fire which took its use away, leading my co-workers and myself to travel into town to clean our clothes.||||6. On Tuesday I went to the office to inquire about cleaning schedule and upon entering the building I noted Bobby was speaking with 2 female employees. I was not even acknowledged of being present for at least 3-5 minutes and then was greeted by Bobby in a very unfriendly manner and tone.||||I was referred to the property by senior personnel at my employer based on their individual previous enjoyable stays. I was told the restaurant was excellent and the workout facility was very good also. Based on this, I referred others here. Unfortunately as mentioned above those expectations were not realized and we were sorely disappointed.

Well for starters the laundry room caught on fire because they do not maintain the dryers like they are suppose to be maintained. Secondly I have a service dog and they knew I had one and approved it when I got here and done my check in. and after being here a week was asked to leave because of my service dog. I had all me papers and doctors note as to why we also have the dog as a service dog: and third they management here sucks they have run off 4 paying customers that I know of for a fact. The woman that is the mangers is very rude to her paying customers. This place is a joke. Not worth the hassle

This place has great potential for the future. The restaurant is closed down, there is no game room anymore. All the pictures on the internet I guess are from when the previous owner had it and it was all brand new. We are staying in a beautiful little cabin. It's very nice. But it doesn't have cups in the kitchen it has everything else you would find though. I would expect an iron and ironing board in the closet and possibly a hair dryer like you would find in any hotel room. The website needs updated to its current condition, it's false advertisement. Maybe when the cobwebs get swept away, the broken ran down benches get replaced, the pool restroom stinks so bad my 6 year old boy refused to even use it, and the restaurant gets reopened it would deserve 5 stars.
