The girl working 3-11 was awesome!! The breakfast was good! The room was nice ans big! The only thing I didn't care for was that our room didn't get cleaned, but we only stayed a day. The hotel staff was friendly! It was a great place to stay! I would definitely recommend!

I stayed at the SpringHill Suites Denton for two nights while in town for my son's wedding. The hotel was the low point of my trip. First of all, I was charged a higher room rate than what was shown online at the time of booking. That said, the accommodations were barely average - very outdated looking and absolutely no housekeeping offered for a two night stay. Hardly worth a charge of $431+ for two nights. Second, the hotel tacked on an additional $89.07 charge to my credit card which they could/would not explain - very shady. Several days later when I returned home and noticed the charge I called and was given no explanation other than 'we will credit your card'. I honestly feel that if I had not called and complained, the charge would never have been credited. Beware.....

Wife and I had a wonderful stay here. Room was very clean, bathtub was very clean which is so important for us, and breakfast had good options. Hotel managers and their staff were so kind and welcoming. We certainly recommend this hotel when in Denton.

I decided to start writing reviews of my hotels every morning as I stay in them for work 250+ days a year and it is always a disappointment these. At this hotel, we checked in late and unpacked, went to dinner and came back to a freezing room. Because the thermostat doesn’t work. Well, there is a sign that says adjust on the appliance itself. We tried repeatedly to do so, but the heat wouldn’t come on and the temp would not go higher than 53 degrees!!!! We froze our butts off and couldn’t sleep. We really didn’t even want to shower it was so cold. It was 31 degrees outside here. Also, the gym sucks. They make coffee at 800 am just leave cold, gross coffee out all day and they have no idea how to make it. I use two creamers in mine and I put 12 in this coffee and it’s still nearly black. And they have every kind of drink except red wine. Why? Anyway, I see why it was so much less expensive than the nearby Marriotts. Although, I am a Bonvoy platinum elite member as I stay almost exclusively in Marriott hotels and every single one has serious problems these days. The only consistency is consistent disappointment. I started complaining about the issues 3 hotels ago after years of this and I expect nothing will change. Advice: don’t stay here if you aren’t bringing your own space heater or expect a basic level hotel gym.

Front desk staff was friendly warm and helpful, from booking to check out. The rooms were clean and well kept. Bathroom was recently renovated, walk in shower was clean and had good water pressure. The air conditioning worked well and didn’t make too much noise and property was quiet and conducive to rest during our stay. Parking was never an issue, all amenities worked well and hot breakfast was good quality. Would recommend, we’ve stayed here several times over the years. Out stay here is always great.

Spring Hill suites are my preferred hotel for business travel. They are always clean, quiet and have friendly staff. This location was much of the same. The room was spacious, the water hot and shower pressure good. The front desk staff was quick and efficient at check-in and provided a perfect recommendation on where to watch some football. Their free breakfast never disappoints.

The staff was lovely, and the atmosphere was nice, but my bathroom was not clean. The bathroom and the bed should always be immaculate. Upon entering the room there was some type of smell in the air. I'm not sure but it could have been the carpet. I went to Walmart and bought febreeze. I was only here for one night and after a long day of traveling, I just wanted to rest. There was a stain on the bed sheet. There were some types of stains or something on the shower walls. Yuck 🤮. There should be a checklist that whoever cleans the room should have to abide by. They should also be required to have a keen eye. The spot on the sheet was the size of a lentil. Although that may be small, it's still very visible to someone who is not able to sleep in their bed and only wants a good night's sleep without having to obsess and or worry about the stain on their sheet. Food for thought. I'm not the only one. JS

We had a horrible experience where we were bitten by bed bugs in multiple different rooms. We noticed blood marks on the sheets, pillow cases. We woke up with bedbugs around us, see the pictures. Still to this day, my wife still has SCARS on her arms from the bug bites which I don't think are going away. I will have to show her to a doctor regarding this injury. AND to this day we are still worried we brought home bedbugs and constantly worry about them showing up in our home. This was the worst experience I have ever had staying at a hotel and I'm shocked that it was a Marriott property.
