Deluxe Inn

Never will we stay here again. The guy in the front was super nice, but that was not the issue. The issue were the two big American cockroaches I saw. One was on the sink when we got in and I killed that one. The other was on the wall hiding under the hand towel when I went to the bathroom at 3:45am. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. The pillows were super soft, the blankets were warm, but the bed was a little uncomfortable. I could stay here again for one night, if there were no roaches. After the two I saw, I don't the think they are moving any time soon.

Was hoping we’d be happy staying for 10 hours. No ice (machine broken), no breakfast, towels were old. Water pressure was good in the shower. Would I go back? Probably not. Other places in Van Horn looked better and probably had ice. It was very hot.

I have stayed here before and found it met my needs at a very good price. I arrived on the Friday before the solar eclipse. They were struggling to handle the great increase in guests and clearly under a lot of pressure to prepare rooms. I checked in and was given a room. While I was unloading one gentleman who worked there noticed I was having issues with my balance. He took the time to suggested I take their room set up for people with mobility issues. I did and it was a great help. He and his wife checked later to see if all was well. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and the Wifi worked well. I periodically stop in Fort Stockton and the Deluxe Inn will be my choice of lodging.

Good value for the money. Good..the floors glimmered, heat and hot water worked well, beds were comfortable. Bad: the only wash cloth had clearly been a rag and 2 of the pillows had a LOT of hair on both sides, clearly never replaced. My bad for not taking the time to inspect before I got into the shower. Sheets appreard fine. Would I stay again? Probably at this price point. Ive paid a lot more for a lot less.

Really clean and decent rooms for the price. We've stayed here three times. One of the rooms smelled a bit musty upon entry, but the linens always smell clean and fresh. Always a refuge on I-10!

My room was clean with a updated bathroom. Bed was fairly firm for a hotel. Unlike many older places with limited outlets, my room had a power strip. Off a busy road so get a room in the back. Next time I stop over in Fort Stockton, I'll stay here.

Excellent value in a low cost motel. The room appeared to be recently renovated and had all the amenities of the higher priced chains.|It is a basic, small room but it was very clean and easily accessible.|The only thing that was less than perfect was the A/C unit fan was loud on high, but since the weather was very hot (triple-digit daytime temps and lows in the upper 80’s) that was a very minor issue. The A/C kept the room cool and comfortable.|We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
