Tru by Hilton Galveston

Nice place for weekend or work travelers. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two. Parking is quirky but ample once you get into the lot. Decent breakfast and close to the beach and great Galveston entertainment. Road noise from Seawall Blvd is pretty awful though, so bring ear protection or get a room in the back away from the beach.

At the time of check in (Jessica), was approachable and friendly. Very helpful on recommended places to eat. I am a Hilton Honor members. I have always enjoyed my stayed at any of the Hilton-brands. Tru is cute and vibrant place. Love love the customer service I received

Loved the location I could enjoy the Ocean from the Balcony. My only issue is the mattress was horrible. I was suprise that since its a Hilton. Normally everything is perfect. I left early to go home because I was so tired from not being able to sleep in that bed. Everything else was great other then that. If they get good mattress I will stay there. Going to the other hotels because they dont have this issue.

My husband and I were celebrating our one year anniversary. The view from the balcony was spectacular. We spent most of our time on the balcony. The service was fantastic. Ailyn and Jess front desk employees were very helpful. They went out of there way by helping us with places to sightsee.

Outstanding place to stay and Jessica the receptionist was very helpful during my arrival. I requested a shower chair also during my stay and one was provided. The full experience at the hotel was Awesome with a great view of the Sea Wall. Everything near by is convenient and mostly in walking distance. This was truly one of my best experiences I'll have to say. Keep up the great work and quality.

This was a first visit to this brand of hotel. Our room was a good size and very clean. We got the room overlooking the beach. The only thing that was surprisingly missing was a coffee machine, but I just went downstairs to get that. A free breakfast is also provided, and there is a large parking lot. |This is actually two hotels, which seemed to confuse some of the guests. When we arrived, there was a very irate guest discussing this with the receptionist. The receptionist was very calm and professional and dealt with the query, also apologizing to us over the time we had to wait. There was no need to, but we really appreciated the gesture.

Jess was very friendly and helpful upon checking in/out. The lobby, and our room, were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot, delicious, and lots to choose from. Great view of the beach with plenty of things to do within walking distance.

Just checked into my room that I spent $140 on , when I tell u it feels like ur stuck in a box , I mean it. Not as advertised at all , I’d rather sleep in my car than a room with a window that is just the side of the building. Whoever built this hotel definitely made the inside look nice but the rooms are terrible. I just gave the lady back the room keys and took the loss.
