We loved this adorable boutique hotel! We decided to "get away" last minute for new years eve & we were so lucky to find this gem! The room was a perfect combination of cozy & chic. The bed was comfortable, room was clean & so close to the strand. We enjoyed dinner at Hearsay which was only a 10 min walk & enjoyed wonderful coffee & pastries at Mod Coffee for breakfast which was an 8 min walk. The "terrace" was cute & comfy, perfect way to end the evening. The check in was a breeze & parking was safe.

We stayed at the oleander for 2 nights on January 9-11 2025 We received our check in info just as promised and it was very simple !! We stayed in Boutique # 1 ( very plush with a great bed ). the shower was very large and plenty of pressure and hot water. Right across the hall was the common area with luggage storage, Ice, Coffee, Creamer, Sugars and Front load laundry. There was a very nice outside seating area with a fire pit. Very close to restaurants and the cruise terminal. Both Brian and Emily were very gracious and kind. VERY NICE PLACE !!!!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN !!!!!

I didn’t know anything about this boutique hotel when I booked it but found its location exceptional. You’re 1-1/2 blocks from the Grand 1894 Opera House. You have a Cuban restaurant across the street, an Italian restaurant 2 blocks, and other restaurants within 2 blocks. My room was #5 and it was across main entrance door. Odd # rooms face parking lot, even # rooms face the street. Rooms are spacious with seating area, microwave, TV, and fridge. Coffee maker is in the laundry room. Wish each room had one. You are sent main door code the morning of your arrival in case you want to leave suitcases in laundry room area. You are given a lockbox code at about 15 minutes before your check in time of 4 pm. Check out is 11am. |It’s an old building but they have done great work. Outside hall might need some wall cracks fixed but generally it was a wonderful stay. Front entrance and side patio are wonderful. There is one free parking spot per room clearly marked. I would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at all of the Oleander properties. We will only stay here when in Galveston ! The rooms are so nice and well appointed. And the people that run these establishments are so honest. We accidentally left our money in the room on a cruise vacation and they contacted me to let me know and made arrangements for their son to meet us at the cruise port. We will stay with every time!

We loved our stay at the Oleander Hotel in room #6. So cute and it had everything we needed. The outdoor patio is a perfect "chill" spot after a day of wandering, shopping and good eats. Being able to park on the property & not have to pay the high parking prices in the historic district is a plus. We stayed at their other property, The White House, about 1-1/2 years ago & had the same amazing experience. We hope to come back during our next visit to Galveston.

Cool little boutique hotel! Room #5 is small but the bathroom is a good portion of the room. It was raining the day we arrived so the mini split is a warm welcome. Bed is comfy and the location is perfect to downtown.

Our stay at The Oleander was pleasant. We only gave them 4 stars because, while the room was clean there was makeup on the duvet and only a partial roll of toilet paper. We were the on Thanksgiving so no restaurants or stores nearby were open. It is pet friendly, which is nice, but some guests let their dogs bark a lot.
