Gulf Siesta

We booked the adorable 1 bedroom through AirBnB. Kitchen was upgraded, clean and stocked with everything we needed to cook except the food. Perfect! My hubby is the picky one and he Loved it. Location was walkable to Seawall Blvd. Food and Entertainment including the beach. Bed was comfy and living room area great! Large tv to catch all the sports. We streamed very easily. Have already referred to our family for get aways. And will book again when in the area. Host was quick to reply. Enjoy!

This is a very nice property! Very clean and wonderfully decorated. It is central to everything Galveston and Johnathan is an impeccable host! I highly recommend Gulf Siesta to anyone looking for accommodations in Galveston! Thanks Johnathan!!

Jonathan was quick to respond while he needed things from me, then after my refundable stay was cancelled thru Airbnb, he suddenly didn't answer any requests to refund the pet deposit, which had to be paid through a separate website (sketchy!). Had to report fraud through my bank. It might be a nice place, but I wouldn't stay there knowing management is okay stealing your money!

They took my money and then asked me to sign an additional “rental agreement” with ridiculous terms. When I asked for my money back they refused and were very rude and disrespectful about it. Make sure you ask for and read their contracts before giving them any money! They will scam you! I’d keep looking, you can definitely find better than this. *Updated with reply to owners response: I read the rules and everything in the listing prior to booking. Their “rental agreement” contains ridiculous terms that nobody who can read and understand contracts would sign. If I don’t agree to the terms of the contract, you can’t have my money, that’s basic business. You are a liar, and a thief!

I had such a great stay at Gulf Siesta! The host was very friendly and super responsive. A beautiful place with full kitchen, open concept, and very comfortable bed. The washer and dryer were a nice bonus. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Location for getting around town could not be better - close to everything. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

This was a short stay however Jonathan (owner) was delightful & charming . Very accommodating. Made my stay a perfect trip & I will return! The unit is very spacious; open design & modern design. Decor made you feel like you were home at the beach!

We had a great stay here! Our host was quick to respond and help with our questions. There was plenty to do and see nearby. Modern kitchen and cozy living room also made a great night in when we needed a break from eating out.

Proactive, responsive host thought of everything! Beautifully decorated place with great outdoor seating and grill. Amazing chef’s kitchen, comfortable gathering both inside and outside, memory foam mattresses. Great experience!
