Gal-Tex Hotel Corp

We checked into this hotel tonight at 11 pm after a long drive. While the building is beautiful, and in keeping with its historic stature. The arrival experience with the valet and bell service was the worst I have seen in a luxury property. Three bellmen were standing at the door and visibly seeing me struggle with my bags. None offered to help and were busy chatting. Not the kind of hospitality and welcome one expects in a 5 star hotel. Hotels like this should pay more attention to the guest experience and warm and friendly service and not just rely on their historical legacy. Will not recommend this hotel to people in my circle of influence.

This is an office building not a hotel. It's no wonder why the other reviewer thought the service was bad.
