The San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center

Positive experience started with Tori’s help in checking in at front desk. Facilities in general are good. But bathrooms on PH level are dated and small. Pool area very nice with great heated pool. Pool wait staff very nice and helpful. Spa AWESOME. Will come again||But ate at Steakhouse on site on 12/31/24. Unfortunately all side dishes came out cold. I know it was a zoo being News Years’s Eve but for price food should hot.

Everything is perfect!!! The front desk staff is extremely nice and accommodating. The room has everything that you possibly need. The restaurants have amazing food. The pool is always clean and the bar service is too notch. And don't forget the Steakhouse. There isn't a better way to end the night!

Beautiful resort on the coast at Galveston. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they made us feel very comfortable and made sure we had access to our room early. We were staying one night just before going to the port for a cruise. Marcanthony on reception was particularly helpful; he answered all our questions and helped us by booking a shuttle to the cruise terminal for us. Thanks for all your help Marcanthony!

We stayed here for two nights before a cruise. It was a wonderful experience! Check-in with Marcanthony was easy and helpful. We booked an oceanview room on the 15th floor. The room was spacious and clean. Dinner at the steakhouse was amazing. Despite it being an upscale restaurant, our young kids were welcome. The waitstaff handled our daughter's water spill with grace and kindness. Our room package included breakfast at Cup and Cove. The baristas were great, and we enjoyed the pastries and coffee around the fire pit by the pool! The location is excellent. We spent some time walking on the beach, and enjoyed lunch at Rainforest Cafe next door. We parked our car in the hotel lot for 6 nights while we went on our cruise. The lot was well-lit and safe. The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and every staff member was pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent experience at The Steakhouse. As always, we were greeted warmly by the Manager, Jon Paul. Our server Lazar was very attentive and gave us the VIP treatment. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. His suggestions were on point. The crab fingers and oysters rockefeller were a hit. The porterhouse steak and filet were done to perfection along with the shared sides. To finish off we tried a few of the desserts, peach/bluberry cobbler, and strawberry shortcake which were fresh and amazing. I like to add that the entire staff at The Steakhouse were very professional and highly polished.

This is a luxury resort, so I feel the bed could have been a little more comfortable. Other than that, everything was great. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The balcony views are exquisite, and the pool bar area is very inviting. I found the drinks to be a little expensive, but it's a resort. There's a parrot in the lobby. Please stop and say hi, or it will get upset and start yelling at everyone. It's pretty funny.

The resort exceeded expectations! There is a street that stretches along the coastline. Stunning views, clean rooms, and exceptional service. Loved the activities and relaxing pool area. Perfect for a getaway. Will definitely return. Highly recommend!

I was recently here for the Women's Council of REALTORS Texas Leadership Summit. This was hands-down the best experience we've had at a conference. The GM personally made sure everything was taken care of, from the delicious food to the amazing service and rooms. All the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The pool and pool bar area were lovely and well taken care of. I hope to have our future conferences here as well. Everything was amazing!
