There were cockroaches all over the room. Cockroaches! The rooms were also filthy. There was no deadbolt on the door. There was no way to safely and securely lock the door on the inside. The carpets and the floor in the bathroom look like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. The entire hotel was just gross. However, the staff was very friendly. I do not feel like it was their fault. However, the massive amount of cockroaches on the walls, on the floors, in the bathrooms, in the sinks, and generally running all over the rooms, made it an untenable situation.

DO NOT GO HERE! I stayed in this hotel last week of Jan 25, this is dangerous, dirty & disgusting. The photos are lie, it is a building site. It has giant cockroaches, electrics & plumbing are broken. Decades of engrained dirt & smells of dog. This must be removed from Booking.Com site. This hotel is illegal and I have tried to get It closed down.

There was a motorcycle rally in town so the normal $50 to $60 price was over $200. My fault for not researching the date. Oh well. I didn't think it would be that bad. First walking in the room we were hit with an overwhelming mildew smell. Had to go buy some febreze from Walmart to try to combat it but it didn't really help much. It was so bad that I couldn't eat in the room. The furniture was dirty and stained. The carpet felt sticky to walk on barefoot. Refrigerator was rusty and leaking. The walls had stains. I asked front desk if I could transfer to a different room but there weren't any available. Luckily, I only had to stay for one night.

Booked through Priceline. When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and we did not have a room. No phone call, text or email. Still waiting for my refund. Not sure whose fault it was but will not use Beachcomber or Priceline again. Have stayed there in the past and it was okay. They no longer have a continental breakfast and the rooms were nothing to brag about. Always liked the location and price for a one night stay before getting on a cruise ship.

The most horrible experience to date. The rooms were moldy and mildewed, the fridge had rust all across the top of it the TV was a joke and the carpet was nasty. Contacted the front desk and showed the pictures of what they advertised the rooms as, versus reality. The manager got nasty and refunded my room without any confirmation of what she did. Now I have to fight with the booking company to get my money back.

The room is comfortable and has everything you need. We checked our mattresses and there were no bug and the room has no roaches. That was my main concern being here and prepared to check out if I saw anything. The room did have a smell but that’s the old carpet that needs to be removed. We turned the ac down and cooled off the room just fine. All the facilities work. Yes there are spots that show the age of the facility but that didn’t bother me none. The person who checked us in was cool he wasn’t bothered when I told him I was checking the room for bugs before I decide to stay. He was cool with us anyway and he was cool with my son. Thank you! The beach is so close and within walking distance I can hear the seagulls from here. It’s a great location. You see all the staff working hard. The rooms aren’t perfect but are comfortable and have everything we need so I have four stars.

It’s now a motel 6, the staff was incredibly nice and understanding, although the room stank really bad like humidity and the restroom smelled like straight up urine all over the place, as if it wasn’t wiped down or disinfected. The front desk lady was incredibly nice and understanding and offered another room, she and I both went to look at it and we agreed the smell was just as bad as the first room so she was able to give us a refund. Please check your room before booking if you can!

Our room was mostly clean the only thing that was dirty were the floors they felt a little sandy and sticky at some parts but other than that everything else was great. We spent a whole week here and every single employee we encountered was super helpful and very sweet. The room was clean minus the floors but that wasn't a big deal. It was in a great location which made everything easily accessible and what was further we simply took the trolley for. The beach is practically across the street it's just a small walk away and it has many other great stores and restaurants in the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
