Courtyard Galveston Island

Giovanni was very knowledgeable about Galveston and was able to recommend things to do and see the day before we embarked on our cruise. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the Bistro and it was excellent. Giovanni greeted us every time we passed the front desk and asked us how things where. They also provided covered parking and shuttle to the port. We will definitely stay here again.

The bed was great. The room was clean. The service provided by Giovanni at the front desk was superb. Woke up to a sunny day and calm ocean! Great location! Plenty of parking space! Great accommodations. Peaceful and relaxing as there is open natural area next to the hotel.

This is a pretty cool place to stay. My wife, kids, and I have stayed here on more than one occasion. They have a bar and grill in the lobby area that also offers plenty of seating. The pool is the main attraction here. With a little cave/ waterfall that you can enjoy. Also, there is a full bar. It's not the San Louie, but I think that's why we like it so much. Thank you Courtyard. Keep a rockin.

We had the most wonderful welcome as Marriott Ambassadors. Giovanni decorated our room with balloons, a snack, and a welcome note, which delighted my daughter. Overall, we had a good stay. The rooms were clean and overall comfortable, although the mattress needs replacing in the room we stayed in. It sagged on my side. The pool isn’t be tear in summer but not this time of year. I would not call it truly heated… it was very cold to swim in (which my daughter insisted we do). I had hoped it would be warmer based on the website and reviews. The seawall and beach access are right across the street. There is not a close crosswalk, FYI, but with older kids, you can safely cross the road during breaks in traffic. We would stay here again for a short stay.

Customer service reliable. Ordered a burger and fries and wasn't happy so next day manager made it right at my breakfast. Room was PERFECT. LOCATION PERFECT. OFF. BEATEN. PATH. Directly across street from beach and a brief walk from fishing pier. Breakfast was not included in package but available for purchase. Avocado Toast was best Ever. Hands down yummy. Perfect.

Giovanni was an ABSOLUTE pleasure. He made our stay that much better. Gio has a great personality and very easy to talk and chat with. He gave us great tips for around Galveston and also for rides. The hotel stay was also great. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the amenities were top tier. Thanks Gio!!

We stayed here for one night before boarding our cruise ship. It’s a beautiful hotel. Location right across the road from the ocean was cool. Great views. Spacious rooms. Clean. They welcome you with cookies & lemonade. Staff was excellent!

Great customer service at front desk, friendly. Rooms are gorgeous just as in the pictures. We came in January 2025 during Texas winter weather. Galveston had a lot of rain and our balcony awning on the inside was leaking a little bit. Just put a trash can under. The main lobby and hallways were cold but it was cold outside.
