Best Western Plus Galveston Suites

I’ve never stayed at a Best Western Plus until I stayed here. It was beautiful outside and in. The staff were friendly. The view from our room was gorgeous as this hotel sit directly across the street from the beach and the Gulf. The room was clean and modern. The free continental breakfast was good. They had eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and more. The lobby is very pretty and inviting. We sat and ate our breakfast by the pool and it’s so relaxing out there. I will definitely stay here again!

We had an unforgettable experience at Best Western Plus Galveston! I had requested a simple birthday note for my husband in the room before our arrival, but the hotel staff went above and beyond—they surprised both of us with beautiful birthday decorations, balloons, chocolates, and a birthday banner! It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made our stay even more special. Beyond that, the room was spotless, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was delicious with great options to start the day. The balcony view was absolutely stunning—waking up to that view was a highlight of our trip. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galveston!

First impression was amazing! We walked in the door and were immediately greeted with a smile! Each and every time we interacted with any one of the staff members it was a positive experience ... seriously ... every time! It was awesome! The breakfast selection was amazing! The cleanliness was incredible ... from our room to the breakfast area to the pool / hot tub area. High Five to you all!!!

This will probably be my go-to hotel for staying in Galveston going forward. The rooms are incredibly spacious and clean and have great views of the beach from the balcony. I've missed hotels with balconies! I enjoyed having breakfast every morning watching the waves. The daily breakfast is also great with a wide variety. There is also a nice outdoor heated pool. The location is great with a lot of good restaurants and beach access points nearby. There is plenty of parking across two lots, but less in the front so you'll have to be lucky to grab a spot there. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach, although you'll have to jaywalk unless you want to walk all the way down to the closest intersection. The beach only had umbrellas set up on the weekend. The room is pretty quiet, although if there are kids screaming and running directly above you, you'll hear that really well (not the hotel's fault though). Overall just a great place to stay.

The location is great because the beach is right across the street. We only stayed 1 night and were glad because we thought the bed was a bit too hard and the water pressure wasn’t very high in the shower. Trying to wash my long hair would have taken a long time due to the water pressure. I know this won’t be an issue for everyone, but I wanted to warn other women who know what an inconvenience this is. The hot tub was a great size but kind of gross, it is outdoors, so they can only do so much to keep it clean. It was a quick and simple check in and check out process. The breakfast buffet was large and had a ton of options. Everything was clean.

Wife and I decided on a spontaneous trip to the beach after being in Houston for a couple of days. This place was pretty great. Super nice front desk, expansive breakfast spread, everything was pretty clean though the elevators were sketch. Great rate for a water-facing balcony! During the day the road noise can be annoying, but that's not really the hotels fault. Big hot tub! We will certainly be back. Thank you, BW!

The best thing about this hotel is walking across the street and there’s the beach! You can walk for miles on the beach or on the walkway that runs along the sea wall. The room we had was very spacious with a nice terrace and Gulf view. Breakfast was average….big dining room! The waffles you could make were in the shape of the state of Texas! The only restaurant that was close was Jimmys on the Pier and that was excellent!

The room was very clean although the bed was a bit firm for my liking ,the shower was a nice size and clean, but the water pressure was a little low.. in this world of USB charging outlets, those were not all over the room like many places have... The included breakfast was delicious IF you can find a table to sit at ( there is room for several more) and my final comment, who in the heck forces hotels to install toilets made for children? As a person who has had 2 back and several knee surgeries, I almost had to have assistance getting up ... Please consider elderly when you purchase toilets as they aren't that much more of an investment.
