Cullen Inn hotel

1st shift customer service is great. I appreciate that, because you never know what folks going through and the lady (never caught her name,) and the young lady, are really professional and really helpful. They don't change the prices on the weekends and the property is secured with cameras. When I need rest and I'm in this area I always stop here to rest.

I really like the owners they are very nice and helpful. I like that it has its own little parking garage located right next to the room door. Makes me feel like my car is safe I was staying next door for over a year and a half and always felt like the owners there were worse then my parents. Always calling my room phone even before my guests knocked on my door. Telling me that they didn't want them on the property. I have spent more than $42,000 the time I spent there not including the people I recommend. I was always feeling like they didn't care about the amount I had spent. I would even clean my own room provide my own vacuum cleaner and all my bedding. I complained about some roaches that were in one of the rooms they moved me to and was moved to another room. When I complained about that room (roaches are my phobia) I was told I could move somewhere else. Mind you I stood in my original room for almost a year and a half and NO ROACHES. Even provided my own cleaners and insecticide. I'm so glad that I moved. . Btw. That hotel is called The Lotus inn and the one I moved to is called the Sunset. Looking forward to the move.

Cullen Inn was nice on the outside and when you got on the inside it was clean. The bed linens was washed and clean. The restroom was stocked with toiletries. Their plenty of clean towels from hand wash towels to medium and dry off towels. On the tub was a folded towel with complimentary bar of 🧼 soap. They even had complimentary hangers to hang your attirement. The mirrors were clear with no smudges on them. So that let's you know that the maid knows what they are doing. They had complimentary cups and mouthwash. I was well pleased with their services. They even gave you a ring on the phones that were in there if it was about to be check out time. Also the prices were pretty fair depending on how long you needed the room for and you can pay by the hour or by the day.

I would have given three stars however the television was not programmed did not work for the first 30 minutes there had to program myself was told to wait 30 minutes before someone could help. The refrigerator would not cool. Fix these things I will give five stars.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Where do I even begin? First, the owner and his wife are extremely rude and disrespectful. And are very blatant with their racism (I’m a Black woman). In fact, the wife is so racist that she even challenged my education. The owner forced the housekeeper to clean my room (even though we didn’t need/want it) just to inspect what was in it (I could tell he was disappointed when he didn’t find anything). I was only there because I had limited funds and my new apartment wasn’t ready to move in yet. The racist owner even had the nerve to ask us if we were “put out”. Interesting assumption. He also questioned my Lyft driver (a Black man), asking why he was in the parking lot while waiting for me to come! And then he called me in the morning (I didn’t ask for a wake up call) at 6:30 am just to tell me my driver was there (translation: I want you both to leave my property). Both he and his wife always stared at me through their booth as though I were criminal. The room itself is just ok. But the poor service will make you hate it. If you’re looking for a hotel of a cheaper price, I suggest going to the Crystal hotel. Much better service, better room, so disrespectful and loud owner.

I don't know why people have given 3 five star review here. I will tell my experience as I worked for a week as front desk. The owner and his family is the most inhuman people I have met in my life, and I am ashamed calling them Indians. The owner neither gives respect to the customers nor his employees.

Everything was just fine. Only thing is they do not allow pets. It's not pet friendly. They even call you fifteen minutes prior to check out as a courtesy call.

Cullen Inn is a very nice place to enjoy your vacation stay, home away from home, or just to enjoy there! They give you a key card to open the front door. As soon as you walk in it smells refreshing with a great odor of some type of cleaning spray. They have 2 remotes in there to accommodate you with cable. Then when you go to the bathroom there's a clean white towel folded with a bar of soap on it. Loving it already! Then the shower curtains are very clean and free of mildew. The showerhead has an optional turning switch to let you adjust the type of water you want to come out. The Outside parking lot is clean of debris and trash. Alot of space to park. Very convenient place to come to because there is a store next door and a Mc Donald's diagnol across the street if you want a quick bite to eat. Then there's the 610 freeway that connects you to 288 freeway. I would reccomend this Inn to friends, family, co workers or even anyone that wants to get away and have some time to themselves!!! Keep up the great work Cullen Inn. Ohh there's a Carwash, Washateria and store plaza next to Cullen Inn. Very very convenient. It's like your one stop shop for everything! Gotta love it!
