★On March 21st my family and I checked into this hotel. We had made our reservations a week in advance and requested a room on the first floor with two queen beds. We were told upon arrival that our request for a first floor room could not be met. I understood that they could not guarantee us a first floor room. So we ended up with a room on the third floor. The room that we were given a room with one king and a pull-out. This is not what we had reserved. After speaking with the young lady at the desk we were advised that our room had been switched without any notice to us, which is the hotel's policy to let guest know if it is ok to change their room accommodations. There would seem to be some degree of incompetence on the hotel's management. We continued with our stay only because the hotel next door, the La Quinta was totally booked. There is a statement on the wall of the hotel as you enter stating that if you are not satisfied with your stay, then it's on us, well we know that's a lie. Here is why it's a lie. After speaking with the clerk at the desk we were told that the manager would call us on the following Monday the 24th, today is Saturday 29th and I'm still waiting on that call. I also called today, Saturday, still no return call. So now I completely understand why our request were not met, at least about the two queen beds. This management is sub-par and lacking of integrity. All I needed was a return call and I would not have given them a one star. I wish I could have given them a negative 5 star. Home 2 will see me except in passing on our way next door.

★Positive: The first desk attendant when we arrived really made us feel at Home. She was also there in the morning and was very bright and cheery. Very nice staff and accomodating. Negative: I noticed some mold on the bathroom shower and the cleaning in the bathroom wasn't really up to par.

NillWe stayed in 3 rooms at Home2Suites Texas City on 04/13/2025. I called them three times when we returned from a cruise, to inform them of a bed bug situation. I wanted them to call me and confirm that they followed up on my complaint by checking the rooms, calling an exterminator, and informing guests who had stayed in the the rooms after us, so those guests could do their own damage control. The hotel manager, Alexis Ortiz, never returned my calls and never responded to my email. I emailed Hilton, too, about the manager's poor response to this incident, and they sent me an auto-response, stating they had forwarded my email to the hotel manager, and she would be responding within 3 days. She did not respond. The bed bug incident was bad, but the lack of response from the hotel manager, and Hilton, was absolutely unacceptable.

NillOff the main highway. Room size was fine, contained a small kitchen area. Staff was nice. Did find a dead cockroach between the beds next to the nightstand.

★★★Where to begin..,At check in, Amerie was rude to me. I had questions about room rate and when I inquired about why she rang up (had to prepay all 4 days?) plus an xtra $200.00, then she said she put a 50.00 a day on my credit card until we checked out just in case there were damages? I did receive my credit at checkout. I told her she didn't explain that to me, she cut me off and said "have a nice day". others working front desk were friendly. apparently, she had a chip on her shoulder. |The accommodations were mediocre at best. The room felt dirty, the bathroom shower was indeed full of mold along bottom of shower and shower doors. A little bleach could go a long way here. (I did make photos) Housekeeping definitely needs to be checked on. Several times, there were no clean towels when I asked for them, and no wash cloths. To have 94 rooms, and I'm sure they were not full, where are the towels. Better yet, who does tge laundry?| We were here to visit a family member in hospice, so didn't change hotels. I have stayed in Hilton Home 2 Suites before and this one is sub par. Hilton wouldn't be happy. Would not recommend it.

NillForgive the used room pictures. I forgot to take when we got here. This place was fabulous. The temperature in the room was super easy to work with. The bed was wonderful. The sheets were soft, which usually are a thing I'm sensitive to. The room came stocked with plates and glasses. Theres even a dish washer. We didn't get to roam much and use some of the facilities. But the gym looked good. The laundry looked in a good state. I usually never eat breakfast at hotels, but this place was wonderful. Pre-made omelets were delicious, ability to make custom waffles. The hotel worker even made my mom a chocolate chip waffle. The app allows for digital key option, which I like. I really just wanted a comfortable room, but got way more than expected. 25 minutes from the cruise port. And the cheapest gas in the area was right around the corner at a Sams and Walmart. The only down side is theres some construction on the access road. To get on the road towards Galveston, I had to go down like 2 miles. But for the price and everything else, couldn't really argue with a small inconvenience. Update: my mom left a hat at the hotel when we left. The woman at the desk went and looked and found it for us immediately. So we'll have time to grab it before leaving.

NillWhen I say this place live up to their name, it’s an understatement. The staff here really makes you feel like you’re at your home away from home. We have been staying here for a while due to unfortunate circumstances Dealing with my son and they have been extremely nice towards him and us during these times. If you woke up on a wrong side of the bed and having a rough morning and make your way down to the lobby for breakfast And have the pleasure of running into Adrian he is definitely going to turn your frown upside down. He’s a burst of positive vibes and energy.
