Greyhound Inn

There’s a sound machine in the room for white noise. It’s necessary because the windows are single pane and you can hear everything outside if the white noise machine isn’t on. Bed was great, room was huge. Cool concept. You can walk to some great restaurants which is also a plus.

We took a week end to enjoy some time away from work. We wanted a unique hotel where we could explore and enjoy great dining. The Greyhound Inn was perfect. The room was very well appointed with art-deco themed appliances and finishes. Parking was gated and the rooms were very secure. We enjoyed the vintage photographs with our coffee in the room. We were within walking distance of the town square of Tyler. Even though the weather was extremely hot, we enjoyed the walk back to our room after the supreme dining experience. Well worth our time.

Really cool mid-century modern feel in an old historic Greyhound station. Entry and check-in was easy. Rooms were beautiful, beds were so comfy. The huge soaker tub in the bathroom was amazing. It’s in an up and coming part of revitalizing the downtown area. We were told they are renovating on the ground floor to open a restaurant. There was no construction noise and workers while we stayed but it looks like it is being actively worked on. It’s a really cool place you will not be disappointed!

We had the opportunity for a staycation at the Greyhound Inn this weekend. Words can not express how exceptional our experience was. This is a virtual hotel. Super easy check in and check out and great communication throughout the stay. The hotel itself was amazing. So much attention to detail and appreciation for the architectural history of the building. The room was well appointed with everything you would need and spic and span clean. We were there for an event. They have the perfect gated parking lot and patio set up for entertaining outdoors. Our room had a den and kitchenette that would be perfect for a single night or multiple night stay. Within walking distance to down town. If you haven’t found the Greyhound Inn you are missing out! Would highly recommend for yourself or a group that is wanting to stay together in one place like a wedding party, family reunion etc.

Stayed at the Greyhound Inn for the first time on July 23rd, 2024. I stayed in Room 8 which was very large, clean and modern! The room has a great kitchenette and a nice sized desk for work. The bathroom is amazing. Lots of space. The Grey is on the plaza which was very cool. I walked to Ricks for drinks and dinner which was a 2 min walk away. Overall great stay and will stay there again when I’m back. Highly recommend. Oh yeah and Check in was easy. All contactless.

I've never been to a "hotel" like this but totally love the vibes! It seems to be in more of the warehouse part of town, which is clean and seems safe. They offer guest parking that is gated off and must have a code that you'll receive from from the virtual concierge at check in. The rooms are upstairs! They've done a great job remodeling the place, keeping the vintage vibes. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms while small, were still nice. I wish the sink area was able to have more storage area for your things as you're getting ready/unready. The trains at night OMG, not cool. That was the main reason why I have 3 stars. Even with sound machine it was a nuisance to say the least.

The hotel is situated on a back street off the main area. We arrived to the hotel at 5pm with no cars in the parking lot. The hotel is on a back street off Main Street. When you pull in to park, the parking lot is hidden leaving your car able to be easily broken into with no one else in the building at all. The entryway was very warm and the hotel was poorly redone. It looked like new paint on the walls and some pictures but felt very gross as if we were actually at a greyhound. The room AC did not work well and everything looked to be very cheaply painted. There is also NO internet at the hotel. So, if you’re coming here for work and don’t want to use hot spot. Count that out.

Absolutely amazing stay!!! The location is walking distance from exceptional restaurants and coffee shops. The room was very clean and stocked with everything you need. The kitchenette was on point and the bathroom was nicely designed. I appreciate the amount of room in the shower. My room was climate controlled with up to date controls and responded promptly to a change in temperature. The room was worth the price. Well done Greyhound!!!
