We had to stay at the comfort inn unexpectedly due to a home emergency. We were able to get a room same-day which was nice. Check-in was easy. The room itself was fine- a little dingy, but overall clean. Our room phone did not work at all. However, we did notice a huge safety concern with the door to our room not shutting unless you force it shut. We realized this because our door had been just barely open all night long. You could also hear noise from the hallway and freeway/street in your room, and there were a LOT of kids staying in the hotel. The hotel staff is nice but they do not seem like they want to be there at all, and I don't blame them. They seemed slightly understaffed, and on several occasions, I witnessed guests being very rude and demanding with the front desk. The pool was OK but is not very deep. The breakfast was simple, but filling and tasty enough. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and gas-stations. It is really awkward to find the first time you are going there as the entrance is set back in a really weird place. I wouldn't recommend this place as a vacation stay, but if you really need something in a pinch then it works.

I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice so far, and one aspect that truly stands out is the exceptional hospitality. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the manager's professionalism leaves a lasting impression. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly enhances the overall experience.

Room was great but tub didn’t drain fully I let them know when we checked out they were grateful and said they would address it and get if fixed before the room was rented out again. Pool cold and hot tub where barely warm but they had been recently refilled from what the front desk staff said and those things take awhile to reheat. Breakfast was amazing as where all the staff we really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future once the pool is warmer.

Pros: The room was neat and clean. The complimentary breakfast was nice and had a good deal of variety. Cons: Location lacked....right next to the offramp of the freeway and apparently the main road is just awesome for drag racing. The pool hours are clearly marked that from 9:30pm to 10:30pm the pool area was to be for adults only...not the case...after 9:30pm the pool was still filled with kids and no one seemed to be around to enforce the rule (may I suggest at 9:30pm perhaps throwing an electrical appliance in to help persuade those who cant read the rules or don't care to follow them a little better). Nothing hot about the hot tub...tepid tub more like it. The staff....the young lady who check us in...nearly ran into us in the hall later on because she was too busy looking down at her phone (not even an "excuse me". When we went to check out, another lady was sitting behind the counter, head down, eyes glued to her phone...my husband walked up to the counter and said "Checking out." ...nothing..she was still enthralled with whatever was going on, on her phone (and my husband has a very deep and booming voice..you have to be deaf not to hear him). I tapped the counter and said; "Excuse me...checking out." Startled she smiled and said she didn't even know we were there (clearly). We checked out and we're on our way. I get it...it's the 21st century...everyone is surgically attached to their phones. But it is unacceptable when you are "on the clock" and your job is to look customer's in the eye, greet them, acknowledge them, and provide service for them....not spend your time looking down at the latest "duck-lipped" selfies on Snapchat! We'll be staying at another hotel for our future trips.

I’m a long-term guest here at the Comfort Inn in Lacey and this is by far the best hotel experience I have ever had, honestly. The Assistant Manager, Nancy Lopez, made me feel at home and is very accommodating. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Love it here!

Positive: Location only. Negative: 1. Both hotel staff members checking us in and out were more engaged with watching live streams on their cell phones than acknowledging customers standing in front of them. One of the representatives reeked of fresh marijuana. 2. Grimey bathtub

I do not recommend staying at the Comfort Inn, Lacey, WA. First off, you have the usual standards, the saggy mattresses, the scratched up furniture, a bathtub that needs chemicals and elbow grease. While the staff was never crude nor mean, they were definitely not of professional standards while at work. I have worked as a front desk agent at a boutique hotel in downtown Seattle for over a decade. I can clearly speak from experience the staff are poor representatives. Upon check in on 04/19/25 at 5pm, the staff checking us in needed a moment to check her personal cell phone and a streaming site the moment we approached the desk. An hour later she rode the elevator with us while watching live streaming. She reeked of pot. I am familiar with pot very well. I know the smell. Upon checkout the next day, 04/20/25, at 09:00am, the food service area next to the front desk was active. Not full, not empty, but definitely active. The agent at the front desk was watching live streaming on her phone. I had to announce to her, “checking out”, twice, before looking up and realized someone was standing in front of her. She then asked if I was checking out.

I stayed here for 3 nights because the Seattle area is expensive and a hotel there almost baited me almost 1k I managed to find this hotel I could careless about the commute to the city because this hotel was more affordable but here are my pros and cons on it. Pros: hotel is at a great location very easy access to get on/off the I-5 freeway plenty of eateries within walking distance from the hotel plus parking is free of charge. Very great breakfast selections and it was tasty everything was hot and fresh. The staff I met was very friendly and gave wonderful service and addressed my questions professionally. Cons: my room was clean (which was good) but the rooms are a little outdated and could use a re model especially the bathroom still clean but still needs a makeover. The hotel is a smoke free place they have a hut outside for smokers I recently had an encounter on my floor where the hallway smelled like cigarettes. Beware The walls are very thin and I can hear other guests talking loudly next door but it wasn’t a big deal since it was a minor issue. Overall I had a great stay!
