Hampton Inn Morgantown

My wife and I stopped on our way through. We had stayed at this Hampton about three years ago, and liked it, so stopped and stayed there again. This hotel was pretty normal for Hampton. Clean rooms, nice person at the desk, decent breakfast. (A little pricey I thought). We would definitely stay again.

I had a late check in several days before Christmas. I had not booked a reservation ahead of time. I was able to get a room without issue and the Guest Attendant that checked me in made sure I was aware of all the amenities available, and most importantly the hours for breakfast. The room was a King Bed with accessible restroom. The coffee and tea selection were lovely, it was nice to have tea flavors besides just the standard black tea in the room. The room had the added benefit of remote controlled blinds for accessibility, this was lovely because you could easily adjust the natural light from bed. I noticed many hotels have their own exclusive scents for toiletries. If you are a fan of fresh scents with a gentle hint of pine and sweetness you will not be disappointed, I certainly wasn't. At breakfast there was an attendant present to answer any questions regarding the food and dietary restrictions. I am gluten and lactose intolerant but was easily able to find several options to enjoy at breakfast. There was fresh fruit, sugar free items, vegetarian, and vegan oats in addition to more standard fare. Something for everyone and every diet. Again, the tea selection was lovely and accompanied by several options for decaf coffee and regular coffee (versus the usual single roast selection for regular and decaf coffee).

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn a few times in the past but was not as happy this time. My issue was that there wasn’t a microwave in the room!! I needed to heat my heating pad and because the hot water in the lobby tastes like coffee, I needed to heat water for my tea!! So disappointed. No sleep time tea and no caffeine for me today.

We are traveling back and forth to Morgantown to spend time with our|loved one who is a patient at Ruby Memorial Hospital. This hotel is in very close proximity to the hospital, making it incredibly convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable during our stay. The hotel staff is very kind and welcoming. Gwen at the front desk is super, and Calvin, who takes care of the breakfast area does a wonderful job.

Nice clean place to stay for the night. We were visiting with family for the holidays and needed a place to stay. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable and quiet. I can imagine this place to be very busy on gameday weekends but otherwise was an adequate place to stay. Would consider staying here again.

I stayed here passing through for the night the bathroom floor had hair all over it. I went to switch room and the next room wasn’t vacuumed it had crumbs all over the floor I’d never stay here agin by far the worst Hilton property Ive ever stayed at. The windows and the mirrors were also dirt.

Based off a terribly painted door painted white with splatter all over the place and on the door knob and sticking to my hand that I assumed I was walking into the Landlord special and it was verified by the white painted rolled bathtub. That’s peeling everywhere because they just use the cheapest paint they could find. Very enjoyable when you’re trying to give your child a bath, and there is paint peeling everywhere.

Don't let the warm and fuzzy responses from management regarding complaints fool you. The manager at this Hampton inn could care less about your satisfaction, convenience or comfort. Morgantown WV has too many quality choices to choose this subpar hotel. Definitely not up to the Hilton Honors standards.
