★★★★★I almost didn't book here but it was adjacent to the event center so I did notwithstanding all the poor ratings. However, those ratings were completely unfounded. I found this to be a terrific hotel and I would highly recommend. Nice rooms, nice amenities, big pool area, good service, clean and good on-site bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend.

NillOur rooms were pretty good overall. Couple little hiccups is all. Our Junior King Suite was to have a pullout sofa, but it was a regular sofa. The front desk did give us a rollaway to use instead though. Cleanliness was fair. Found some nuts and crackers under the cushions and under the sofa. We stayed because the hotel was attached to the event center we were in town for, but I think there might be more economical options nearby.

NillThe hotel is visually appealing. The shower was spacious. The beds on the other hand weren't very comfortable and either were the pillows. Also, if you run warm bring a fan with you. We turned the thermostat down as far as it would go and all 3 of us were still hot. We did not get much sleep.

NillIt’s a decent hotel, I expected a little bit more for Hilton, but was a little disappointed by my experience. I stayed here for new years with some friends, and the staff were very friendly and nice. There were some things I noticed that I was disappointed with though. The mini fridge didn’t keep any of the food cold, so I ended up having to toss my leftovers and other food I had brought, so that was disappointing, and the a/c didn’t seem to be working properly. We had turned it down, and noticed our room was still warm and not the temperature we set it at. The hotel buffet was pretty good, but the eggs I ate really upset my stomach, which was noted by someone in my group. When I got home from the New Year celebrations, the entire key card system went down, which I’ve never had happen at any hotel I have stayed at before, but we did get free breakfast coupons for the inconvenience. The pool also didn’t seem to have a heater working , because my friends said it was tool cold to swim. The location is really nice tho, being right in the center of downtown and walking distance to bars and restaurants is really nice. For the money I spent, I expected a little bit more, but it is what it is. The Starbucks in the hotel was really convenient I will say

NillI was hesitant to book here because it had a lot of bad ratings. However, those were unfounded. We found this to be a very nice hotel, nice rooms, go to amenities, good quality, good service and good location. I would highly recommend.

NillMy stay at the Hilton Paper Valley was okay. Took the room all night to get warm. The ceiling had water damage that you can notice in the corner. The bed slept okay considering I had a headache when I woke up. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of channels on the tv, that blew me. No microwave :( to warm up my left overs. The pool was inviting, but not hot tub I wish they had. Otherwise my stay was okay.

NillRooms are fine but it's got a weird layout with the west wing. Stayed here twice and the last time was awful as they had the water shut off for routine maintenance in the morning? Was told it would come back on quickly but 40 minutes later still no water. Called again about the lack of water and that I needed to leave for meetings. I was told I could get moved to another room to shower. When I came down they said all the rooms to shower were gone. After asking they said I could use a dirty room. Not sure why they didn't suggest coming down when I first called. I don't see myself staying here again do the service issues and weird hotel layout.

NillUnfortunately our most recent visit was quite disappointing. We had two rooms on the third floor, facing College Avenue. It's a city, so traffic and people noise is to be expected, and has never been an issue. In fact, the location of the hotel is usually a plus. This time, both of our rooms were awoken at 2:00 am by pounding bass from a food truck. When we called the front desk, the response was that they usually leave by three am. Not what you want to hear when you have a five hour drive in the morning. The manager eventually agreed to ask them to lower the volume, but the food truck apparently opted not to because we spent the next hour listening to pounding bass. This is obviously a regular location for the food truck so if you choose this location, I would recommend requesting a room on the inside of the hotel or overlooking the courtyard or just staying elsewhere if you would prefer a full night's rest.
