Days Inn by Wyndham Evanston WY

I’m not sure how this place has decent reviews. To start, the door to the building in the back of the hotel doesn’t lock like it’s supposed to. Anyone can walk in. Someone tried to enter my room while I was in the shower, the latch lock stopped them. Broken down car and RV near my room, car has a flat tire. Room was freezing cold when I arrived, heat took a long time and was all or nothing. No in between, room was an ice box or stifling hot. Tons of hair stuck to every surface in the bathroom. Wall plug ins were unusable and looked like a fire hazard. Bed was possibly the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. When I was checking out there wasn’t anyone at the desk and a man appeared from the stairs and yelled “what do you need” and I said I was returning my keys, yelled at me to just leave them then. I did not feel safe or remotely comfortable at this hotel. $95 with a pet fee, should have gone across the street.

This place is so nice for the price. They have a heated pool and hot tub. They have a blow dryer, fridge, iron and board, coffee pot, microwave, the beds are really soft and comfortable I was really surprised. The heater worked great, the TV was a great size, the channels weren’t much and wasn’t the best satellite but that didn’t bother me I set my computer up and used my HD cord and watched shows from my laptop. The girl that was working in the front never greeted me but I wasn’t too worried about that. They have vending machines and ice machines. They allow pets. The breakfast was really nice, they had waffle maker, juices, cold cereals and hot cereals, fruit, yogurt and much more. I would definitely stay here again.

The lobby area has a very homey fill. I love the plant in the waterfall. The pool and hot tub actually work, which is hard to find These Days in hotels. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and we'll definitely come back

tl;dr : I would rather sleep in my car than book a room here again. Booking: The front desk guy charged me twice, and then when I asked why he said he would have to get his manager (who was conveniently on vacation). The lobby was clean enough. Room: The room itself was sizeable, but dirty. It felt very empty, lots of floorspace. The bathroom was not great. There were stains in the tub, and rings in the toilet. Bed: The mattress was fine. The sheets were of no note, they seemed clean enough. Breakfast: There were limited options, a few carbs, a few choices of drink. Coffee was below average, juice was okay. Milk was watery, but the cereal itself was fine. Conclusion: This location had what I would describe as a yellowed feel. Everything seemed really used, and while passable it wasn't anything I'd spend money on, especially if you get double charged. It was quiet and I wasn't robbed, so I guess it was an okay hotel.

My brother and me was visiting some out of town friends and we got in the hot tub the ignort maintenance man came and asked us of we was guest here I tried to to tell them no but we have friends that r staying here he wouldn't even listen to he threatened to call the cops he was really ignort and he was a ×××÷× so I don't recommend staying there and there breakfast will it ×××××I found a hair in my waffles. And another friend of mine had payed for a week and the guy at the front desk was so ignort and he refused to gi e her all of her money back

If you are looking for a place just to sleep, this hotel is the right one. They have very good prices, the rooms are OK, but as I mentioned before, if you are just looking for a place to sleep, it is fine. The breakfast in the morning is a little small, but don't expect much for the price you are going to pay. I paid around $65 for one night. The hotel facilities look a bit old but everything works. They have free parking and Internet as well as a heated indoor pool.

Positive: They excepted pets. Negative: No heat! Walked into a freezing room. Turned on window unit and it took close to 8 hours to make it comfortable. Had to sleep in our coats! Ridiculous!

We love to come back every year to this place. The rooms are super clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly. The location is very convenient. Pool and Whirlpool are huge and also very clean.We are looking forward for next year.Evanston is a great town to visit.
