Rustic, new, amenities you expect and many you don't! The most thoughtful hosts ever, and super friendly! The kind of log cabin getaway you dream about, complete with a beautiful pond and porch. BBQ was awesome and stone fireplace is amazing! Clean as a whistle and beautifully decorated with moose antlers and rustic details...in fact a friend, who came to our sons graduation at UMFK, from Georgia loved it so much he is flying up in Sept with his wife, just to come back here to stay!! Can't say enough about hosts and and cabin...if you are in this area looking for accommodations, this is the place, and reasonably priced for the number of people it will accommodate.

We rented Dan Daigle's large cabin. It was stunning - handmade by the owner and his spouse - sleeps 6 easily - we were only 2 so we had plenty of room. The accommodations are fantastic - great fieldstone fireplace, comfy furniture, great beds and a wonderful shower. Would recommend it highly to anyone wanted a true escape - right off the snowmobile trails - no need to get in your car once you arrive. Has a full fridge and stovetop, microwave and coffee pot. Wonderful acadian food close by if you prefer not to cook in - including The Lakeview Restaurant and Dolly's (who has the best ployes with creton (savory) or molasses/maple syrup (sweet). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What an amazing home away from home! We came to visit family for the holidays and found this unique enchanting place that took us by surprise. We were welcomed by a warm, cozy cabin and beautiful accomodations for our family of five. I can't speak enough about the amazing hosts and their hospitality! The cabin was spacious and had hand crafted details in every space. The hosts took every opportunity to ensure our stay was perfect. It felt like our own winter wonderland oasis for a Christmas we will forever remember. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend. What a special place!

I have stayed here and also Martins and the Gateway. The Other Maine cabins are definitely the newest by far. Very neat and clean and private. The owner couldn't be friendlier. The smaller cabin sleeps four (only bunk beds though) and has all the necessities. |The larger cabin sleeps 7 (one queen bed and the others are bunks) has a jacuzzi tub and a gorgeous fireplace. Give this place a try.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, quite place to stay, look no further. The main cabin is a huge authentic cedar log cabin. This place has a loft with a Jacuzzi tub in the main cabin and the fireplace is amazing. There are two cabins available and they both sleep multiple people. You will be missing out if you stay anywhere else.

We stayed at the Moose Chateau for two nights, and couldn't have been happier with our choice of lodging. This place was not only beautiful and peaceful, but it was also immaculate, clean, and well stocked with everything you could possibly need when away from home. The owners were a pleasure to do business with, and I would return again in a heartbeat!
