Stayed here with my girlfriend for the a weekend. It was beautiful, clean and the breakfast is the best there is! The owners were sweet and kind and truly cared about their guest! It’s a beautiful quiet area up in Maine. Definitely will be back.

Charlotte and Bob are so welcoming. This is our second visit and they certainly make everyone feel like family! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. If you want to be antisocial it is ok..if you want to be social it is even better. Great conversations and a hug before you leave. Love the muffins and English muffins, both made local!|

A beautifully restored barn with each room tastefully decorated in various themes. Much attention given to detail which overall creates a comfortable and pleasing environment. Rooms are impeccable and spacious. Charlotte and Bob are exquisite hosts; they make you feel welcome within minutes of meeting them. Breakfast is a wonderful experience with fresh produce and local baking. Highly recommend Upton House to couples, families or friends travelling.

This B and B was so clean, nostalgic, comfortable. The hosts, Charlotte and Bob were wonderfully welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the Nautical Room on the second floor. It was beautifully decorated. Our Nephew and his wife stayed in the Native American Room. All of the decor was tasteful and inspiring. The breakfast was much more than the ordinary "continental". Cereals, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, muffins, jams, breads, coffee and juice. Very high quality. The location was perfect for our "moose hunting"...with camera only. And we were greeted by hummingbirds, and a pileated woodpecker. At night we had the most restful peaceful sleep on super comfortable beds. We will go back for sure.

The very best of B&B experiences. Charlotte and Bob make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very large, bright, nicely furnished and squeaky-clean. The views are fantastic.||||There's also free Wi-Fi, important because Upton, Errol and other nearby communities are located in a cell phone "dead zone".||||Breakfast is bountiful: Fresh fruit, cereals, local baked goods (don't miss the almond-coconut muffins), yogurt, toast and jellies. And most important - the coffee is excellent. ||||Highly recommended if you are staying in the area to hike, boat, fish or snowmobile or just passing through. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Our family of 3 stayed in the Celtic Room. It has 2 beds and is capable of sleeping 3-4 people. Bob and Charlotte are very friendly and the place is beautiful. The breakfast was great I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

This place is wonderful! The hosts are extremely kind, welcoming, and accommodating. My room was very comfortable and had a clean bathroom with a shower. WiFi was great from my room as well. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, muffins, yogurt, eggs, etc. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone passing through

We stayed this past weekend at the Upton House- a little background:||#1 - this was our first ever stay in a B & B||#2 - my wife and I traveled with two eight year old relatives||Charlotte and Bob, our hosts were great - they were informative of their facility and as the two older of us four were originally children living in this very small town, Charlotte was very helpful in pulling and giving info of the area and its history. We were even more pleased that Charlotte was acquainted with the local historian, and within an hour of our arrival, the historian was sitting in the common room with our two seniors going over the history of the town from seventy five years ago. Really appreciated by our two.||Additionally, Charlotte was right on mark on her suggestions for a nice restaurant within striking distance.||The rooms were well appointed and extra clean, both of our rooms had history memories within that were shown and explained , adding to our experience.||Breakfast was well done with a lot of choices with great coffee.||Unclear if this is the norm in all B&B's, will have to try some more of them to tell - however,we've already determined we will be back to this one - hopefully in the spring with more wildlife activity to be seen and to try some of Bob's wine specialties.||Thanks for a great first B&B
