NillWe loved our room and the host Raj was great! Everything was perfect during our stay. The room was clean, smelled good, and looked nice. We knew that it wasn't a 5 star hotel, but it responded to everything that we needed. Thanks Raj for everything!

NillBooked here at the last minute and got the last room. The owner is so nice and welcoming. He was very accommodating and even let us stayed parked there for the whole day after we checked out. He also assured us it was completely fine when we were running a few minutes late for check out. Rooms were clean and everything was great! Was asked a few times if there was anything we needed. Great location with a nice walk to the pier and back. Would definitely stay here again and will definitely recommend! Thank you!

NillI had an amazing stay at the Atlantic Breeze Inn! The rooms were not only reasonably priced for the area but also impeccably clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The quality of the bedding added an extra touch of comfort to my experience. The outstanding service provided by the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. The inn's location is perfect - nestled in a quiet area, yet close enough to the pier and beach, making it an ideal choice for those who don't mind a short stroll. I truly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend the Atlantic Breeze Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!!!!

NillDo not stay at this motel. My partner and I stayed at this motel, the first day we got there we inspected the room and we’re very shocked at how disgusting it was; there was a huge mold patch on a side chair, the floor was not vacuumed, there was a bunch of dead bugs and bed bugs on the floor, there were used stained towels from previous guests, we stayed on the main level and our door had a huge crack at the bottom, the bathtub had residue, we pulled out the bed, and there were a ton of dead bedbugs, they painted over moulded grout on the bathroom tiles, the bed sounded like it was going to collapse when you sat on it, the fridge was dirty, filled with food/sauce stains, and with the state of the room, they still expected tips for the cleaners by leaving an envelope, written “tips for cleaners”. When we arrived and inspected the room, we immediately went to see the manager and demanded they take the moldy side chair out of our room. They did not offer to clean the room, did not offer us a cleaner room, they did not offer our money back, and did not offer us a discounted rate. We were told sternly “if you don’t like it you can leave”. We had no choice to stay there, because there were no other vacant motels last minute on a weekend. we ended up having to go to the Walmart in Portland Maine to buy cleaning supplies to clean the entire room. After the first night we stayed there, they did not change our bedding, gave us new towels, and vacuumed quickly. The photo with the dead bedbugs in the corner was taken after they vacuumed after our first night stay. They vacuumed so quickly they didn’t vacuum the bugs. The only good thing about this motel was that it was close to downtown Old Orchard Beach. We definitely will not be staying there again.

★This place is a complete joke! The pictures are lies. I climbed it bed in the middle of the night the first night, in the dark and woke up in blood stained sheets🤮. I didn't think to check the bed... the second night I slept on top of the blankets... He FOUGHT me over my legitimate diabetic alert service dog then kept the $160 security deposit saying there was blood all over the room when we left. I literally NEVER left the dog unattended in the room and was in the room from 2 am to 7 am overnight, zero hanging around this dump after him acting like a complete tyrant. I was so sketched out and highly disappointed and uncomfortable. I highly advise avoiding this business entirely. Completely run down, smells terrible, so outdated and run down. My dog and I are both spayed (the truth) so it wasn't either of us bleeding in the bed! He's crazy and is seriously uneducated on the ADA Laws and how service dogs work. He couldn't stand that I am extremely educated as it is part of my career. Highly do not recommend!

NillWe booked this hotel on Expedia last minute since there was not many to choose from. I walked into the lobby to be punched into the face with the smell of old dirty smelly mildew/mold and asked to see a room. The room was like walking into the Bates Motel. Old, dates, dirty, VERY smelly and damp. I immediately walked out and got a refund. We drove another 30 min to find another place out of town. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. I am not very fussy, but I did not want to smell like the room and or look for bed bugs (if there were some). Find another!!!

NillThis place is a complete waist of money. First off I booked this place last minute looking for a peaceful place to go during a very busy bachelorette weekend and unwind. It was only a few minutes walk from everyone else in the wedding party. I have a legitimate Diabetic alert service dog (who's spayed... I'll get to that) the owner FOUGHT with me for over 25 minutes even after showing him a prescription from a military doctor!!! I had a panic attack during this entire episode and was so sketched out about him lerking around the outside of the room after that. I spent no time hanging around or checking around the room or bed. The fridge looks like a rusty filling cabinet. The showers out of an 80's single wide. The dog was with me constantly. When getting back in around 2 am, I climbed in bed not even thinking to check the sheets, when I woke up I was sleeping on a blood stained sheet!! Not fresh blood!(I track wounded game and study lots of blood samples) A stain of blood in 2 different areas (I have had a hysterectomy for years so if it wasn't me and it wasn't the dog whos blood is in the bed?!?) This was brought to the owner's attention! This coward kept my security deposit saying after we left there was blood everywhere and we did it!! I took pictures of everything. This place is a complete dump, pictures look nothing like the room I stayed in. This place smelled, is extremely outdated, dumpy and over priced! The owner will be reported to the ADA for breaking ADA Laws even though if you ask him he's a service dog expert! Extremely disappointed and truly left a very negative memory of a trip that was supposed to be a special one. Please take your business to one of the many Americans in the area who will take care of you!!!

NillI want to respond to Jordan Studstill's review because I don't think it's a accurate portrayal, & also as a person who empathizes with service men and women who struggle from severe PTSD, panic disorders, etc. (I'm just going off the info provided from review) I'm a child of a Korean war vet, niece of 7 uncles who served fearlessly in WW2-Vietnam. However, I have several issues with this review. I spent the last week of a month long OOB vacay at the Atlantic Breeze with Mr. Raj as my host. To say he went above and beyond to ensure my child and I were happy with accomodations is an understatement. Raj was the only host to offer to show us rooms in advance to my booking and I can personally speak to his cleanliness, hospitality, and willingness to help his guests. I can attest to Raj's ethical business practices, attention to guests needs, and professionalism; but more pointedly I can personally refute what is being stated about Mr. Raj's character, integrity, and the hotels uncleanliness. Due to my severe allergic reaction to any kind of pet dander, I make sure I ask up front if it is pet friendly (there are MANY pet friendly rentals in OOB) and if any pet has been in the rental before my stay. This struck up a conversation between Raj and I, we chatted about a recent incident at the motel where a guest snuck a large dog into the room. This concerned me due to my severe allergies. There is required paperwork at check-in and checkout with a deposit. Apparently , there was no mention about any medical alert dog, disability needs, or pets. Why would anyone omit this information if it was a legitimate ADA dog especially with paperwork? Why the sneakiness? This whole "review" reeks of someone who got caught breaking posted motel rules & now you're pissed you lost your deposit . A revenge review.. As far as any blood stained sheets, it's nonsense. I stayed in 3 separate rooms and all the beds were made with crisp white sheets. Also, How does anyone not notice large blood stains on a white sheet before you lay down on them? The first thing people do upon arriving at a rental is turn down their bed sheets & test the bed out. I had the pleasure of meeting Raj, who is one of the most honest, ethical, and helpful hosts up in OOB, my daughter and I spent a wonderful last week of the summer at a great beach motel that beat any of the comparable motels we stayed in and I would go further to say I preferred our stay at Atlantic Breeze Inn over the pricier $350 a night hotels we stayed at. Just because you pay more doesn't mean it's better, and I speak from experience. It's a basic beach motel just like so many of the OOB motels, but it's clean, safe, and it provides all your essential needs, freezing AC, small fridge, clean sheets, comfy bed, and nice clean bathrooms and one of the best hosts I've met too! We can't wait to come back next year, my daughter & I had a blast! Thank you again Raj! L.Mastro & Daughter BTW..It didn't come up in conversation, but I do believe Mr Raj is %100 American and hails from the East Coast. What that has to do w/anything is beyond me.
