Wow wow wow. Honestly the shared bathrooms freaked me out a little.. Our room was on the second floor so we had shared bathrooms but honestly.. it was worth it! The bathrooms are great & cleaned hourly so they feel like you’re at home with how clean they are. Our room was like the picture but felt homier. The staff was very friendly, polite & welcoming. They have a “breakfast” in the morning with fresh fruit in a basket & danishes (cut) & a wide selection of keurig coffees. The Inn is literally a 30 second walk to the beach! It’s clean, there’s a sink in the bedroom, and a working ac & tv. Take this how you will, but if you’re Canadian, this spot has a lot of French Canadians lol. This spot will definitely become a tradition for us.

Cute, clean & quiet little inn, perfect for a mini getaway & relaxing. Staff was hard working & friendly! They even worked with us and welcomed us as we got in pretty late. Perfect walking distance to downtown & a stones throw from the beach! Would 100% stay again! Thank you to the wonderful staff for making it an incredible stay!

Cute little inn. I love the antique vibe; however, the bed could be updated and the curtains fixed. Other than that, no complaints! Very sweet front office attendant and the proximity to the beach is to die for! Had a wonderful night walk.

We booked this hotel in a rush, before reading the reviews here (which were pretty disappointing). Also, we didn't notice that the bathrooms were shared. This place is very clean, organized, and cozy. The "squeaky floors" mentioned in most reviews (it's an older house, after all), do not spoil the stay. Lack of private bathrooms is fine, if you take into account a sink in the room and only 3 bedrooms on the second room. We upgraded to the ocean view room and were absolutely happy w it it. Plus, it's a perfect location. So... reviews don't always do places like this justice :)

the Rebekah Inn location is great....steps from the beach and the center. The porch was lovely and calming with furniture that faces the beach. The Inn was extremely clean! Coffee and tea with little snacks are available in the lovely sitting area. If you are an antique lover this place is for you!!!! I cannot emphasize that enough. We stayed on the first floor with a "private" bathroom. However, I didn't get the feeling this was "private". The second floor (which we did not tour) is a shared bath. The "private" bathroom is off of the kitchen and a small laundry room used by the staff. However, I did not feel it was private as after we had closed the door, we returned to find it open. The staff did call us once to ask if we were in the room and using the bath as they needed to get in the bathroom...good for them, but made me feel uncomfortable. We were told that the middle dining room , which we had to go through to get to the bathroom and then pass through the kitchen, was used for show. When I told an employee that I noticed a chair in that dining room had a leg that appeared to be sticking out and I thought someone would fall, I was told "that room is not supposed to be used anyway", it made me cringe. The view is beyond lovely. The porch has a wonderful view of the ocean. The sitting area is even beyond that an is closer to the ocean. The staff was wonderful, the setting is a # 10+. The "antigueiness" of the inn" would be a #10, but it is not for me. However, I would stay in the adjacent property The Sandpiper Hotel in a heartbeat! The Rebekah Inn and The Sandpiper are owned by the same family and I would absolutely return to one of their properties again, just not the Inn.

A trip to Maine is not complete without a stay at The Rebekah Inn! This great Inn, dating from 1919, stands as a testament to the astonishing beauty of Old Orchard Beach and Saco Bay. Located less than half an hour from Portland, the Inn brings a truly nostalgic feeling for its visitors. The house itself remains sparkling clean thanks to the regular housekeeping, complete with thoughtful touches like a 24/7 coffee/tea bar, full-size toiletries in the restrooms, and the friendliest staff! There is a beautiful porch to sit and enjoy the beach from, and the beach itself (only a few steps away) remains clean and quiet! All restaurants and cafes are within walking distance, making this location even more desirable—all in all, a perfect stay. I have already been back twice and am looking forward to my future visits to the Rebekah Inn!

Very intimate place. Only reason for 2 stars off was had a family death and was trying to cancel plans. Out of all our hotels, they didn't cancel. We even said we had proof of death but said it was against their 14 day policy. We ended up going which was nice and it was close to the beach, definitely a good option. The house is older though and creeks. Plus many bathrooms are shared (ours was in the kitchen)
