Absolutely loved staying here. The staff, Brian and his sweet wife, were so kind and incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. You don't find kind people like them around much anymore! The cabin was perfect! Beautiful view, spacious, and comfortable. The grounds are impeccably maintained and absolutely perfect. We cannot wait to return 😍

The nicest people are running this self catering lodge, location is perfect for fishing, nicely set up for BBQ and relaxing by the fire or playing games. But the newly built luxury cabins we would have done very differently. The lodge only has space heaters, furniture is basic to the extreme and not cosy, the upper floors need to be accessed by an outside staircase, the TV is mounted above the entrance door, house shakes when people are walking upstairs, shower and sinks had teething issues with hot and cold water.

My two buddies & I stumbled across this hidden Soldotna gem. Clean, comfortable cabin that easily could have fit four just steps from the river. Excellent location for fishing right on the beach of the property….. complimentary hip boots and gear were provided, along with on-site filleting, freezing, processing and shipping services. Brian and Peggy, along with son Alex, couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Washer/dryer, top-of-the line grills and smokers on the premises. Literally everything we could have needed. We loved our stay and give it our highest recommendation!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the King Salmondeaux Lodge. The Riverside Cabin exceeded our expectation. It was exceptionally clean, had a comfortable bed and pillows and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed - and the view of the Kenai River from the deck is amazing. The lodge grounds, pavilion and bon fire areas, grills…were all well-kept and clean.||||The On-Site Managers, Oakley and Brian, greeted us upon our arrival, and Brian and Peggy went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and they answered the many questions we had about the area. Brian demonstrated the technique for catching Sockeye (my first time) and it was not long before the first fish was hooked.||||We highly recommend the King Salmondeaux Lodge and look forward to our next stay in August!

Our visit to the Lodge was excellent! Leslie and Seth took great care of us, and we enjoyed walking out the door, grabbing a rod, and fishing whenever we felt like it. Very well outfitted. The cabin was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents. We especially liked the outdoor pavilion for grilling and eating together. It was very convenient to run into Soldotna as needed, but felt very secluded.

This was my first time here. Leslie was GREAT providing excellent hospitality and service for activities. My boys used the extra Alaskan summer sunlight to play badminton, frisbee and toss the bean bags around which were all provided by the lodge. Of course there were fishing poles and all the gear available for use as well for no additional fee. They even have staff to process the fish! We've made some great memories grilling freshly caught fish and eating outside on the picnic tables. The view from the upstairs bedroom looking at the Kenai River is amazing! I loved seeing eagles soaring over the Kenai River while sitting in bed.

Clean and quiet and Leslie will take such good care of you. She's lovely and understanding. Lots of fun and I would stay there again. The "black out" shades could be a bit darker and completely block out the light in the bottom bedroom for the summer, but the forest green was not too bad! So more black out shades all around, especially if sleeping in the loft, and I could see that being a better night's sleep for those of us in the lower 48. ;) Also, lots of great wildlife including moose and bald eagles, so have the camera ready!

My father and I did a bucket list trip to Alaska and stumbled upon King Salmondeaux Lodge and boy are we glad we did. The setup, staff, cabins and fishing were all incredible and they really made everything as easy as showing up. I highly recommend.
