NillAn absolute hidden gem. My family and I are long time Alaskans and we have done a fair share of Alaskan adventures. This past weekend my husband and I made plans to take our kids camping/sockeye salmon fishing on the Kenai. After arriving in Soldotna, we soon found out our camping plans weren't going to workout. Thankfully, we met Jim with Kenai Riverside Resort. He was able to book us last minute in one of his tents. To say this was more than a dream come true is an understatement. Hidden at the end of a dirt road, Kenai Riverside Resort created unforgettable memories for me and my family. The tents were extremely comfortable for a family of 5, if not more. We had our own designated bathroom with a shower. Amazing food prepared for us everyday. And to top it off, fishing from the dock right on the Kenai River. Jim's crew took care of everything when it came to processing our catch, and we went home with 3 coolers of vacuum sealed frozen fish. I wish I could remember everyone's names that made us feel so welcomed. Jim and Renee's generosity and hospitality will not be forgotten. If you ever have a chance to visit this gem, take it.

NillVery rarely does anything exceed your expectations, but Kenai Riverside Resort did. Exceptional support and service before we arrived, all details were communicated during our stay, canvas canopy’s were perfect, amazing food, and service throughout. Lifelong memories made. I will be booking again

NillWe had a fantastic time with the folks at Kenai Riverside Resort. The cabin on the river was perfect for our group of 4. We thoroughly enjoyed spending evenings around the fire with our camp hosts Peggy, Brain and Alex. We were able to catch fresh fish for dinner from the river in front of our cabin nightly! Jamie, Jim and Jordan made us feel right at home and took care of all the details and fish processing for us. Even though we were a little early for the king run on the Kasilof, guides Kevin and Hunter got us into fish both days. The float plane trip to Wolverine Creek was amazing. Captain Jimmy and his team got us on halibut and cod both days we were out. The fishing was great, but the people were even better! Can't wait to plan another adventure with these folks.

NillWe had a wonderful time with this company! They were super accommodating from the minute I first spoke with them over the phone to shaking hands and leaving at the end of the day. Jamie coordinated a great trip for us, last minute too, and our guide, Klein, was awesome! He was so kind to us, great with our kids, and really made sure we had a great trip. We all caught a bunch of fish, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and could not have asked for a better experience. Good people running this place, we will absolutely be calling them again next time we are back! Thank you!!!

NillThe ower, Jim V. is the consummate professional in all phases of the experience. He pours his whole being into making sure that not a dollar you spent to enjoy Alaska an Alaskan fishing was wasted!! I'm a several year repeat customer who will continue to return to see Jim and his staff!! Thanks

NillWhat an amazing location, accommodations and experience. We stayed here for the last part of our 21 day Alaska adventure. It was nice to have meals cooked or prepared for us, private bathroom facilities and adult beverages. All the staff members were friendly, kind and patient, especially helping my younger kids learn to fish. We will definitely be back!

NillOne of my most memorable places I have ever stayed - and I travel extensively! It’s a one if a kind , amazing location, wonderful staff all knowledgeable and hospitable . Jamie , manager of resort, found us having coffee early first morning we arrived and told us to come with her. We followed her up the road and saw a mother mouse with her babies enjoying the morning dew.. it was picture perfect and set the baseline for the best vacation ever!

NillFirst of all I want to say, the staff were all awesome, nice people and the location is amazingly beautiful and serene. Our glamping hub for 7 days was comfortable. Being from TX we have longer nights, I was worried about sleeping. It was very easy to sleep (not necessarily dark inside, so if that bothers you, you may want an eye mask… that also might be a cool gift basket item… Which, oh yeah they gave us sweet personal gift baskets in our tent upon arrival). The sound of the river in the background of everything made it feel like you were listening to meditation sounds all night. Jamie was great! She checked in with us everyday. You can tell she genuinely cares about everyone there having a memorable and fun experience. Definitely the vibes of all the staff, but most of the staff had more of a laid back approach. Jamie was someone I would want to be friends with. Secondly, the fishing!! The personal dock is so nice and relaxing. Whether you’re killing time to go somewhere or do that all day (a lot of guests did and caught their limit most days). We were there early August so there were a lot of sockeye to catch. Kevin the fishing guide would come around quite often and give tips or just chat with you. Overall, I don’t have enough time to write all the nice things I want to about this place. If I had any critiques it would be a sandwich making station, so in the mornings you can make your own sandwich. A few lounging hammocks around the common area would be nice. Lastly, maybe transportation opportunities to some of the trips (it’s nice driving because you can see so much and take your time too or from, but maybe just an option). We will be returning when we get the opportunity. Oh oh.. almost forgot to mention the dogs!! Loved them… would have taken them home if I could.
