Old Bank Lodge

Knowing that it was an old bank converted into a hunting lodge I expected it to be a bit rough and primitive but I was very surprised. Whoever did the decorating has a real flair for a homey, inviting, outdoor chic look. I loved it! It was very clean, the beds were comfortable. I didn't use the well stocked kitchen or laundry. Since I was traveling with family having to share the bathrooms and TVs wasn't a problem, but might be if you are staying alone. The only drawbacks for me was the floors had spots were you had to watch your step and the couch in the conversation are seemed a little well used. Our family has a reunion in Leola every three years.......I am looking forward to my next visit!

The lodge is clean, comfy, and warm. I would have moved in years ago if they'd have me. Lynette, Jerome, and their staff are some great people. The habitat they keep for pheasant hunting is impeccable, truly a gem! Would highly recommend.

the place is amazing. decor is just what a person would think of in a old bank and a lodge. and the owner is so helpful

Rooms can be confusing to get to as nothing is marked, but otherwise very nice place to stay!
