Rivers Edge Condominiums

Room 803. Same crap management Bavarian Brooks Rental! No water after a 9 hour drive. Placed in room 11, which the door knob/lock did not work. Had to get help getting in and could not get out. Luckily there's a back door. Gas Fireplace only worked once. It's on a timer but I could not make it come back on. Hot water and pressure was great Bed was comfy. Until unit 803. Hot water ran out before I could rinse the conditioner out of my hair. Only one shower. Beds are hard as rocks! They are old and people have been complaining about them for years! Apparently the owners don't care!! The fireplace backed smoke up into my unit (twice!) and the unit about me even though the flue was open! The sliding glass door is bad And will not roll. Management accused me of closing the flue even though they saw it was open. I am done with Helen!!!

These condos are in older buildings but the interiors are somewhat updated. Spacious and cozy. Nice features. Has a fireplace. Several doors to the outside and into balconies. Great location within a short walk to downtown and access to restaurants and a Dollar General with basic foods and supplies. Stocked with the basics. Very clean when we arrived. River is right out back. My only complaint is the mattresses. The beds are NOT comfortable. Had an achy back when I woke up and I changed beds after night one. Proper management was good. Answered right when I called (I couldn't find the door 😂) and the door code was provided as they said late the day before check-in. Easy clean up policy. Nice location. Just needs better mattresses fit for humans to sleep on.

My wife and I and our Chihuahua (Rosie) stayed in condo #703 |Check in was a breeze and we were allowed to check in early. |The employees there were all extremely helpful and very pleasant. |The condo was clean and fully stock as advertised. |The beds were nice and comfortable and we slept well.|These condos are right on the River and it was nice sitting out there on the swing watching people float down on the tube.|It is close to town and walking distance to a wonderful restaurant. |There also is a nice grassy park very close walking distance to walk Rosie so she can get exercise and do her business. |We had no problem getting extra towels as needed. The condo looks to have been recently updated and is very nice.|Checkout was also a breeze and we definitely will be going back in the future. |Lastly these condos are very affordable and a really good bargain.

Best place to stay in Helen Ga. hands down. Awesome location combined with great views of the river, centralized in the city make this the best place to stay. Customer service is 10/10 all day! These people go above and beyond for you every year we've been there. High-quality condo with a great little town attached. Highly recommend. 👌

We stayed in Rivers Edge Condo 504 for 2 nights. * The condo unit has a 'stale' and 'old' smell throughout. * The bed pillows were badly stained and there was no blanket for the bed...only the sheet and spread. * There are holes in the sheetrock * The heating/cooling vents are in the ceiling and blow directly down on you. There must not be a filter on the heating/cooling unit because the walls look like black suet has blown on them where the vents blow toward. * The bedroom vent was half hanging down from ceiling. * The ceiling fans in each room had thick dust on the edge of fan blade * The ceilings had cobwebs hanging down, and the kitchen wall also had cobwebs. * The sliding glass door to the deck overlooking river had a hazy dirty film cover that you could barely see through. Needs cleaning. * The wrought iron patio table and chairs were so rusty that we could not sit on for fear of the rust staining our clothes. * During check-in the clerk was not friendly or helpful. This unit needs thorough cleaning from ceiling to floor, paint, and update to heating/cooling, added bed linens, and new pillows. The location was good and the river view was beautiful. However, due to price charged ($300+ for 2 nights) and condition of condo, we would not recommend this unit and will never stay here again.

My wife and I along with our Chihuahua, "Rosie"|Stayed in condo #703 at Rivers edge Condos. |Check in was super easy and the office associates were extremely nice.|Our condo was just as pictured on the website.|Very roomy, clean and comfortable. |It had new full size stove and frig. New air conditioner and ceiling g fan.|The beds were very comfortable. |There is a sliding door that takes you out to the back porch/balcony that overlooks the river.|This condo doesn't have a private balcony but it was still very nice to walk out to look at the river. You can also walk down to the rivers edge from the balcony. |At night it was very quiet and we slept wonderfully. |The location is walking distance to restaurants and stores or a short ride to town with easy parking and walk to downtown restaurants and shops.|There was easy access to grassy areas to take Rosie out to do her business. |There is even a very nice park in walking distance to take her.|Check out was equally easy and again friendly office staff.|This was our 1st time staying here. |And lastly the cost was extremely reasonable. |We have always stayed at the Helendorf but this is our new place to stay.|Thanks for a great time in Helen...

Roomy. Nice location. Dirty towels left in washer. I just washed them because they were stinking. Second morning was sitting at the bar and water was running down the wall from the ceiling to the floor. It was coming from the unit above us. They did send a maintenance man but he said they would have to wait until they vacated the unit could we just deal with it. I guess we could since we have paid for 4 nights and was 6 hrs from home. Things only got worst. The leak upstairs kept leaking all over the bar and we had to keep towels everywhere the bar, the floor, the water was coming out of the flooring planks if you walk it squishes out. The upstairs occupant's had children running all night finally quit at midnight, Sounded like a herd of elephants running above up we had to turn the volume all the way up just to hear the tv. So rude of them. Never would recommend this unit.
