This is a NON-PROFIT organization that allows EMERGENCY HOUSING for Single Mothers/Fathers and Families with CHILDREN!!!! Yes it's on Colfax, but that doesn't mean EVERYONE lives like that! There are rules to fallow and these WOMAN bend over backwards to accommodate the best they can! My family and I are EXTREMELY grateful for this opportunity!!

I felt extremely unsafe. Fires were started, windows were broken out and staff disappeared. They were worried for their safety so they left the residents to deal with the unstable man who kept coming back. Definitely stay on the staff's good side they will find any and every reason to kick you.

Rooms are filled with roaches and the condition of the rooms is atrocious. The staff are negligent and unreachable. The lot and parking is a disaster. They will not improve with feedback and instead attempt to discredit reviews and input from guest. They call themselves a shelter, but the place is more like a Crack den being run by the Muppets. I opened the drawer to the side table and took a picture.its attached below. They will probably attempt to discredit this review as well instead of admitting thier incompetence.

I needed a place to stay that was close to where I needed to be so I made reservations here. First of all there is no such thing as reservations here. At that time i asked the guy how the rooms were because the reviews i had read were terrible but older reviews. Then there was a newer review that leads you to believe they have remodeled and the place has changed. The guy basically said that they have updated some of them and are sold out every night. So I assumed that perhaps they were remodeled and decent. And I was on a budget and this place was cheap. The outside was scary as I drove up but decided to give them the benefit of doubt. The room did smell nice and the carpet was fairly decent but the lady at the front desk said she was putting me in a room with a new bed. The bed was not new and the bathroom was terrible. The floor was sinking in and you could see the crawl space underneath. The location was scary. I was truely afraid to leave my car outside and would never dream of walking anywhere around there. I ended up calling the front desk and telling her i was checking out. She said there was no refunds. So i cut my loses and moved to a cleaner, safer and more relaxing hotel. There was also several "scary" people lingering around outside the rooms as if they lived there all the time. Overall this was the worst experience of my life. I would never recommend this motel to my worst enemy. And thats being kind about it.

i found the staff to be very friendly. They have recently done a lot of repairs and uptake to the property. I had no experience whatsoever with any kind of bug infestation, and the shower was lovely compared to many other motels along the Colfax Strip. Very quiet, and reasonably priced! Came with wifi, cable, a fridge, and microwave. Definitely recommend!

Place needs security to keep all the unwanted guests out of there . A lot of people who go on the run like to hang out there ..Lakewood police have their hands tied with restrictions . I know of a security company that will most definitely help you keep people there and when you start to remodel they will make sure your tools and supplies are safe . ..I’ve also watched it fall under new management before , hopefully this time it’s different

We had some issues with the water when we moved in, like a month of them turning the water off but they had issues with it and finally got it up and running again. The water takes forever to warm up but we got a kitchen room and it is very spacy, no tub only a shower but oh well, drama free, and management is very nice and if you have a complaint they are right there to fix it. Looking for a cheap place to stay long term this would be it

Run down, dirty rooms. I only visited. A friend while in the area and was very disgusted when entering room. Which was the best part, as you approached or exited. Just being inside small complex you felt profiled as an affiliate into drugs and the people that surround them. Very high police activity was noticed very easily in my 10 min of my white swan life, ten min I'll never get back lol
