Bar-L Motel

If you like hearing knocking from the attic and dealing with ghosts then this may be the place for you. Was a temporary but rather long stay 2 years ago and I straight up left cuz the place was haunted. I've heard people have also passed away before in the passed way before I ever got my room. Found out 2 separate people on separate occasions apparently passed away in that room years before I got to stay there... maybe it's just that room I don't know I doubt it... but that place was haunted. Moved away never seen the activity ever again... I'm just glad I left. Seemed like the whole place was negative vibes... if you hear random knocking on the walls or in the attic you aren't going crazy and if you notice the light turn on or off during the night after you left it on or off then you too will have experienced what I did. You aren't going crazy this place truly is haunted.

The appearance of the place, the price range, and the history all speak for themselves, good and bad. I would like to let anyone reading know however that the hotel manager is a decent human being. A 'nice' manager at this place would be eaten alive. They wouldn't be able to handle it. She's a tough lady but she's fair. -I've lived here for almost a year. Seen it all.

This place may be rough around the edges but the people here are wonderful and truly care. Seeing the bad reviews on here make me wonder what those people did to make the management angry, because my experience has been if I needed something she was there to help. I feel safe here as management doesn't put up with people being nasty, or disrespectful to the other people staying here. Don't be so quick to judge and try asking the people who stay here long term with no other place to go and feel at home here.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL!!! Picture the worst fleabag dump motel you can imagine. This is it. Why one star? Well, it has what it says it has, if your standards are very low. There is cable TV and a microwave and a mini-fridge and wi-fi, all of which work, and an AC that works okay. But the place made my skin crawl. A gang-infested slum with lots of permanent residents drinking and blasting rap; I felt I was taking my life in my hands when I stayed here. No deadbolt, just a little kick and the door would cave right in. The bed makes your camping cot from grade school seem very comfortable. The room stunk, there were no trash cans, the bathroom is like a closet and the shower is like a coffin. I realized too late what a dump this place is and I tried to leave, but the gal that scalped me for $60 for a stay in this dump won't refund you unless you back out within 15 minutes. Do yourself a favor. Save the 15 minutes and the outrageous $60 and stay far away from this place, unless of course my descriptions make it sound like a fun place to go.

The worst motel in history of motels. My mother 73 years old and they kicked her out before her checkout time. The staff there were Disrespectful and they couldn't change out our laundry our towels or our bedding when they say they put stuff outside they would leave it there and then they did take it they wouldn't bring anything back the walls on the floors are nasty there was a used condom on the bedroom floor.

Hi i soent one night at this place Bar L Motelvwell prwtty much says its own name ,but is bar for drugs was the worst experience of my lide was people up all night peaple srilk yelling outside and managers beey rud to me and my wifw indront of my six year old son,he was even upset way managee yell at us whwn peaple up all night yellimg fighting just what evee do stay away from that might mare dont like reviews like this but,every one wants anusty when spending ouroney expeshally have kods or little older i recomemd not go their rather sleep in car ,every one Fod Bless have a good day

Woman who runs appears to be burnt out and really brash... Sheets and pillows had crusty stuff left from previous guests. Bathroom was remodeled and very nice... Tube television was a blast from the past that had a wine so loud you could hear the show

Roaches everywhere. Cut the lights out, came back, and a roach was literally stealing a $5 bill out my wallet. Slept with the lights on, and I still got robbed for my socks. Smh. Do better y'all.
