I stayed here for few years i kept to myself caused no issues and then.was told by new owner to move and he raised the rent from 650 to 1200 he forced things into my room and moved all my stuff to middle of room. I told him I've never caused a problem and you're first day you want me out? Stay away. He said my place was dirty. I had left that morning to work and dropped a pizza box on my floor. A empty pizza box. He threatened to evict me over a pizza box. What a joke

Owner posted an ad on Craigslist said seeking couple for live in manager. So I replied. Wanted to move out of my husband dads house. She called me for a meeting a Hardee’s. Spoke to me on the phone and responded to my emails. The entire time during the meeting she never spoke to me but directly to my husband. Asked if we wanted the job without showing us the motel. I assumed we would stay in an apartment behind the office as I have done previously as manager. She showed us apartment a that had water damage in the ceiling, dangerous pulled up floors, and disgusting. She asked if we had children which we told her we had a seven year old son. She was fine with that to start. So we agreed to come work on fixing it up. We got there she spoke directly to my husband instead of me even though we told her I’d be handling the management position because my husband works another job. She then proceeded to tell us we would not receive a salary for the management position, asked us if our son could stay somewhere else, and when we asked if she would be okay with us putting up a privacy wall so our son could have privacy she then told us it wasn’t going to work out. On top of that she tried getting us to agree to stay in a much smaller more disgusting room than she had originally said even though the first place was horrible enough. After all that she asked what we wanted to do and we declined the management position. Wanted us to do management and maintenance for free. No thanks. The place is a dump and there are junkies in every room. She says she doesn’t like drugs there but allowed a temporary management girl to shoot up. All sorts of code violations and no effort to fix the place up. When we offered to make the appearance of the place much more pleasant she got upset. Terrible. I suggest you avoid this place at all cost.

Where do I begin if I could write it no stars I would!! Well I was there I experienced a person being thrown out after coming home from a long day of work because the maintenance / had desk employee felt he could do what he wanted well he was under the influence of alcohol. He tried kicking me out multi times and always return to say I'm sorry I have certain conditions... Yes i understand is what i would say to diffuse the situation. The owner was bought out on one occasion because the police refused to kick out a guest... Bc this person had not done nothing wrong except for fall prey to the maintenance man's mental conditions and alcoholism. So the owner had the guest trust passed.... Ontop of that they kick the guests out and kept his money. He paid for a month and gpt a week. I had a friend from the army over to rest a few hra before going to go see a person in the hospital... once again the maintenance man with his mental health and alcoholism insisted that I either remove my friend or leave with the police and he would keep my payment no matter how how much longer I had. Drugs screaming violence it's is all at this location. I personally repaired the water valves that I had to dig up cuz the maintenance man didn't feel like it and I and other guests really want to take a shower. I'm a self-employed contractor with very capable skills of managing this but not my place to fix. Overall it's basically the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and don't recommend it to a homeless person even if the room was being paid. Try not to speak to the maintenance man's wife or cross paths she is a Brooklyn psycho how she states... and how's even scared of guests before they have opened their car doors... if you have kids please stay away there's no telling what could happen.

Yep another place we lived at. My step daughter had a bad reaction to bed bugs. The Cuban guy was only nice to us when his girlfriend wasn't around. The couple that stayed next to us was very rude . And the guy was a drug dealer. The guy hit my husband and when the police got called because the Cuban guy didn't wanna move us . He got mad that we called the cops . But the Cuban got always called the police on his girlfriend. Then when we moved the gut didn't wanna return our key deposit. When I tried to talk to the owner. She was more rude then the manager. They need to shut that place down. Horrible

Rent is between$250 - $275 a week. Rooms are loaded with roaches. Water pressure in some rooms drop at any given notice. If you enjoy the smell of weed this place is definitely for you.

The managers wife is very rude and disrespectful. The room was supposed to be clean before needless to say I had to reclean. Bathroom door broken, no hot water from bathroom sink, tub had leak. Over charging for rooms. No amenities at all!!

60 years ago we used to stay at this motel when visiting our aunt in Lakeland. It was a great motel back then and we loved going there and swimming. Can't believe it's still there.
