BED BUGS!!!!! Filthy. Oily handprints in shower, carpet looks like it wasn’t vacuumed in along time so I didn’t remove my shoes. No toilet paper and nobody would answer at front desk so we had to buy Kleenex at the truck stop next door. Stink bugs and dead flies everywhere and live bed bugs. My partner and I got eaten up!! When I talked to clerk in the morning asking for a refund they didn’t even listen to my complaints. Photos to follow of the site will allow me. I stopped counting after 100 visual bites on his arms and torso. I had over 40 on myself! Worst experience of my life and they refused to hear our complaints so it wouldn’t happen to others! People like this shouldn’t be allowed to run ANY BUSINESS!

The 1 star is way too high of a rating. We rented two rooms, both had bed bugs and one had the additional cock roach. The sheets did not look clean. the desk person gave us half our money back, but complained that because we had removed the bedding he would not be able to rent them that night. He shouldn't be renting them at all.

We came in around 4:30 am and needed a place to sleep. Long drive behind us and a long drive ahead of us. We definitely woke Raj up and he was still very pleasant. He got us room 111 and it had the best beds in an inn that we have ever slept on. I looked at the brand to see about getting one at home, BeautyRest mattress. The room smelled clean and was clean. I give it five stars because it was exactly what we needed and it was awesome for the price. It is located right by a Pilots truck stop but the ac/fan in the room was enough to drown out the noise. We own a diesel truck so being able to get coffee, fill up and be on our way quickly was very nice. Thank you Raj.

We almost got into a car accident with the roads last night, so we had no choice but to stop here for a couple hours. We checked in late in the morning, online showed 85$ I was charged 100. I think that’s outrageous especially for a Sunday, for a few hours. We entered the room, and the beds were full of crumbs, the bed had a big yellow stain, assuming urine? I have photos but it won’t let me post them here, The fridge had food from previous customer. The room smelt so bad. I don’t recommend. I’m really requesting a polite refund. I’m discouraged. Thanks

For the price other comparable motels I’ve stayed in are better, but it was alright. The owners are friendly and the service is good, this place just needs a renovation. Rooms have microwave/refrigerator, but the mattresses are old and the room had a funny smell (not moldy, like some kind of citrus cleaner) The shower took about 10 minutes to start running hot water. It is convenient to get on/off the interstate and they have dedicated truck parking. I’d stay here again if I ever had to. The room was clean (as clean as it could be). Again, the physical plant just needs work.

The guy that checked us in was very friendly. That's the only perk. As soon as we walked into our room, we saw a cockroach on one of the beds. Dead bugs under the mattresses. A/C does not work. Bedding and linens do not look clean. Shower head is super short. You'll have to bend backwards to rinse your head. If this wasn't the only room available along our I-80 route right now, I'd fight for a refund.

UPDATE: Don't book your room here online. Then photos are deceiving and they WILL NOT refund your money if you see it in person and decide not to stay. They can keep my $80, I will post this review EVERYWHERE. I have notified Expedia and have sent them and Google updated exterior photos. The room was not the problem, the hotel itself is. I'm glad you confirm people stay a couple hours as that's exactly the type of hotel I thought this was. All I wanted was a refund.............................. Original post: We showed up to the hotel, people sitting for outside their rooms, paint missing from most of the front doors and across from the truck stop. My wife would not stay here. They refused to refund my money because I booked a non-refundable room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I am surprised that Rodeway would lend its name to this place. All I can think is that it was a repo at a cheap price- the exterior looks ok so I thought the interior would be fine - wrong! This will teach me to look at a room before I rent it. No wonder there was a no refund sign behind the desk.||||We were travelling with a pet, so had to pay $10 extra for this room. Nothing has been kept up - the inside door was once white and was filthy. The bed skirt for one of the beds was a king and was put on a queen bed; hanging over on the floor on both sides. There was a little coffee maker that made weak coffee but no cups! There were two worn out towels thrown on the towel rack and an old tub with enamel coming off. No toiletries - I was afraid to get in the tub but hubby said the water was barely warm. One plus - the sheets did appear to be clean.|| Went over to the office for the free breakfast - what a surprise! 3 or 4 bananas that should have been thrown out. Some muffins and cookies - dispensers of cereal and bowls but no milk. And more weak coffee.
