This hotel is absolutely atrocious. I was coming in blind bringing family in for a new start from Phoenix Arizona. I was told there was only one room left so we took it. When we got there it was the most old and disgusting room. We checked and the bed was full of bed bugs, smelled like cat pee. We called maintenance and were then taken to the remodeled rooms which were vacant even though we were told they had no rooms. They looked nice on the surface but were filthy even though we were assured they were clean. And also had bed bugs. We also we were warned when we pulled up that homeless people had been trying to open doors all day and to be careful.

Terrible place. Does not have very good reputation at all. I took care of an elderly woman there. She was offered no service at all. She pays a whopping amount every month to live there but gets nothing out of it.

I lived there for about 8 months in 2021. The entire staff are all wonderful people, fun and friendly. I feel bad however, I was recently placed on the "do not rent to" list with no explanation. I recently found the right job for me and I'm currently awaiting my first paycheck. There are a couple of residents there that were nice enough to let me spend the night on their floor on cold nights. (Living in a car during the winter is not fun in Nebraska). That may be the reason for banishment, lol. Although, Chelsea said it was not a problem (me being there), that is the only thing I can think of. Other than that, the staff is very accommodating. The rooms are quiet but a bit dark. The location is perfect for either north or south trips around town. THE PRICE IS AWESOME! THE WATER IS ALWAYS HOT! I strongly recommend it ☺️

Filthy and dirty with very old furnishings. The drapes on the window were dry, sun bleached and faded and cracking from long intense exposure. The bedding was worn and there were thousands, yes thousands of cigarette burns in the carpets. The bathroom fixtures were extremely outdated and the exterior of the building and hallways need renovation. Lots of noise from loud music in other rooms and people sitting outside their rooms in lawn chairs smoking, drinking and being loud. Housekeeping was poorly done and the entire place needs updated and renovated.

We've stayed here a full 3 weeks now. While this is an older hotel so some things are expected, I have to say...it's comfortable here. The frame was broke on our bed, which did take quite a few days to get switched, but they still did it. Themanager and 1 othergal that works in the office are very friendly and nice. The maintenance man seems pretty cool, as well, and very respectful. NO BUGS! I have been so happy about that fact!! We rented a room for a week in Hastings the end of last summer...THAT was a traumatic experience! We were extremely worried about staying in another pretty cheap hotel. We are comfortable here. It's clean (though the room could use a spring cleaning and the carpets need shampooed), surprisingly quiet for being off of a main road, the resturant and bar are acceptably good and decently priced, most of the renters here abide by the 11pm quite time and everyone seems pretty friendly and helpful with the exception of a couple of the desk clerks. They even have 2-room "suites" available for families. The manager here is awesome and considering its age, runs a pretty good place. Only complaints are the bedding that never fits and how dirty the bed protectors are and the fact that the tub is not usable for a bath. For the price...this place rocks!

We arrived in Grand Island with nowhere to stay and this place seemed to look like the best one. The reception area gave us the impression that it was quite nice, but our room was awful. The key didn't work at first and we had to get another. It was small with old furniture but it was the bathroom that was the worst. The bath had paint splattered all over it and the bath was full of dirt and grime. The walls in the bathroom were also dirty and the whole room just felt unclean. It was obviously very cheap to stay here and we survived a night, but wouldn't stop here again.

This is a good place to stay of u are homeless or need a cheap place to stay. $160/wk for the first 4 wks then the city tax goes away and it's like $145/wk. Has a little c-store in the lobby to buy food and such, has washer and dryers in an adjacent building with a bar upstairs of that building.

The staff is wonderful. Rooms are always neat and tidy. No bugs. Has laundry in their club house and pool. The convince store has almost anything you could need and is all friendly to be made in your room.
