Motel 6 Omaha, NE - Central

First we were a party of 3 with 2 dogs, key cards didn’t work, we had to go to front desk 8 times to have them rekey card. Front desk area had sketchy people hanging around should have taken that as a clue for what happened next, . Friends of the front desk people were working on their boom bass in their car, so loud vibrating the windows, we were woken up in the middle of the night to the same car booming away to Mexican music with lots of bass! Awoken at 7 am by what sounded like a herd of elephants above us, come to find out they had a roofing crew starting at 7 am and we were told to move our car or get hit by debris, no place to park as the roofing company workers took all the spaces, no sleeping after that! So back to the sketchy people hanging around, I guess the roofers had a call out for workers for a job and some 40 plus people showed up! If we were informed about this when we checked in it wouldn’t have been bad and we could have gone somewhere else.

Excellent value.  Not fancy. Clean bed and room. Good coffee!  Fast food nearby.  My room was cool and quiet.

The room was modern and the bathroom was updated. It did not have a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker or shampoo/conditioner. There was ample space. This location needs some serious updating. The back interior stairs are cracking. The original carpet in the halls and stairs still smells of cigarette smoke, as does the room. The metal transition to the outside was loose and a fall hazard. Multiple cars with flat tires and broken windows. The service was okay. No smiling faces but friendly. The lighting in the room was nice. The AC kept the room cold.

The location is great bc it's right off the 84th St. exit on the interstate. The hotel itself has had some remodeling done to the rooms, which was much needed, but the crowd that hangs around isn't the most inviting or appealing for that matter. I have heard crime occurs often, so I wouldn't recommend leaving anything of value in your car or room. I think the price point is a little steep, but they are fairly accommodating if you need a room at the last minute.

Lisa was very helpful and polite. Very friendly staff. Beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby. Felt the Christmas spirit.

This place all the walls and halls have ears. Decent space in the rooms. Staff cleans rooms even if you stay a week. They won't let you skip. So that's good. Wouldn't bring your kids here. Always ask for extra towels lol.
