With anything, you get what you pay for. The smell of must and overused cleaning supplies hits you as soon as you walk in the lobby/room. The attendant behind the desk was direct, but not friendly or welcoming in any way. We were told room 220, but keys were made for 218. He did not say anything when this was pointed out, but he stomped around and passive aggressively opened our room with his master key. It made it very awkward for our multiple trips through the lobby to unload the car. There were visible stains on the bedding and fabric chairs, but no bed bugs! (Although we both felt like we were getting bit throughout the night.) There was hair throughout the bathroom that did not belong to us. There were no tissues. The water took at least 5 minutes to get "warm" - not even hot. We booked a nonsmoking room, but the room reaked of stale cigarettes. There were multiples cigarette burns throughout the bedding. Once we showered, the shower rod wouldn't adhere to the wet walls. We could not get it to stay up again. The heating system is hard to manage. It was either too hot, or too cold, without an option to set a temperature. The noise level the first night wasn't bad, other than the repeated opening and closing of doors throughout the night. The second night was rough. There were people arguing all hours of the night. The door to the hallway is not sealed well, so the light leaks in on the edges and the sound comes right in. I would only stay here again if I were desperate. I liked that it was close to anything in town. I left as soon as humanly possible and showered as soon as I got home.

Stayed here for one night and I mean you get what you pay for. There were NO bedbugs so I was pretty happy. Got a non-smoking room but it kinda smelled like cigarettes and stale air. The air conditioner wasn't on when I went in so the room felt like a swamp when I went in. The light on the ceiling is useless. The lamp is better but smaller. Better open them curtains I guess lol. But the sheets looked clean. I mean I've been in worse but I'm satisfied with my visit. I agree with the one review about solo traveling females. Just the vibe and suspect door locks (my peep hole was literally a whole in the door. No glass or anything) made me a little on edge.

I did not make a reservation here but a "friend" made it for me. With friends like this, I need no enemies. I've stay at plenty of mid-range and budget motels/hotels through the years and I rank this one as the worst experience! Make sure you have a good GPS, you'll need it to find your way there. The desk clerk was barely communicating, not sure if he could speak English at all. Room was dingy with literally yard sale furniture. Bathroom light blew out the first time I switched it on (thank goodness I had a good flashlight in the car). Didn't try to use the shower because with nothing but a flashlight in the bathroom it could have been a scene from a horror movie. No TV, just one weak lamp in the corner of the room away from the bed. Positives, if any: checked the bed for bedbugs, none found. Sheets appeared to be clean. Mattress was decent (I was so tired it wouldn't have mattered much). I didn't see any amenities at all. We did what we needed to do in that area and got the heck out of there!

Old not updated with paint, scuff marks on paint some holes, narrow stairs. Only 1 facecloth for 2 adults 2 bath towels bed pillows were not even standard size. They were like a toss pillow.Door to room it’s peek hole was stuffed with tissue paper. Ac / heat was really dusty in air when used. Shower stall had hair in it before I used it. The state police and Sheriff pulled in. Moldy looking on fencing and other motel room doors . Lobby area had bags of food that was still there the next day in the lobby

They don't have no house cleaning unless u ask for it. U have to provide ur own toilet paper if u already received 1 on the 1st day as well as n e other toiletries. Way too much noise especially @ nite wen children r usually being put 2 bed 4 skool the next day. Stay here ONLY if u have no other resources, but that's just my personal opinion.

I went there last night and the room was less then average. Bed was hard to sleep in and while I was on the bed I was getting bit. I took pictures I have bites on my upper and lower back, arm and ankle. Looks like bed bugs when I look at other pictures. Noise is ridiculous. I was in room 253 around the back. Would not suggest going here locks on doors aren't sturdy either.

Couldn’t find the place since it’s on a back road then I was given the most oddest room that was hidden behind another door. The rooms door didn’t seem to have a good lock or seal. So, I wouldn’t recommend for single females traveling. Also, room said non smoking and clearly the many patrons before didn’t get that memo, I could nearly breathe, spent the whole night coughing from the stench of lingering cigarette smoke. Very outdated but it was a last minute booking so you get what you can find and pay for.

Quiet, good A/C, seems pretty clean, large room, needs BOATLOADS of maintenance. Good restaurant in the same hilltop parking lot, no driving required. There's a fenced playground for children, didn't check it out.
