Budget Inn Rooms

I was in New York for a family visit and was looking for a nice,clean and cost effect place to stay. I did my checks and after seeing these past reviews I decided to give it a try anyways, to my surprise this place turned out to be the best cost effective Hotel/Motel in New York. I was advised that they have new management, the team was very accommodative and respectful. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

I would never never stay in this dump again. It was so dirty & was very disappointed for the price of it. Rather would of walk a mile in my shoe up to the Super 8 motel but we had a flat tire & want to be the 1st customer to get our tire fix next door to it. Shame on your place. Fix it up to make it look nice for that price. Too expensive. Seriously.

arrived late got attitude from worker. got into room stunk like cigerette smoke and dog urine then to top that off. turned heat up past 80 degrees to get no heat all nite the temp stayed about 55 all nite. plus the phone didnt work and the toliet didnt flush properly.. yes it went down but just bearly. when confronted worker was told not his problem that we should have complained earlier. yet he said give it time to warm up on arrival that nite. i would not recommend this place to anyone

This place should be shut down. The prices they wanted for this was unbelievable high when Super 8 was so much cheaper than this. My husband & I got a flat tire last nite & no place was open to get our tire fix till today. Tow truck tow us to Mr. Tires . We seen Budget Inn was next Dr so we went there. Would if walk another mile in my shoe to another place or slept in the car. What a dump. Carpet was disgusting, no shampoo or soap in the bathroom. Door were Crack felt like I got bitten on my neck by a bug during the nite. We had to ring the bell 3 times to the manager to come help us to get in. What a dump this was. I wouldn't pay even if it was $19. 00 to stay in that dump. $71.00 with a discount. Shame on you with nothing there. Close the place down

This is $20 dollar a night hotel not 72 with tax. The worst hotel stay I've ever had. If u are on a budget keep driving or find a couple extra dollars to get a diff hotel. I did read reviews before going 2 bad reviews were before new management. Latest one was after new management. So we justified giving it a try. I say 20$ a room because I wasn't sleeping in my car. But I probably would have slept better if I did.

We arrived late in Oneonta and had to discover, that all the hotels in Oneonta were full. So we had no other chance, than staying in the Budget Inn. The only available room was a smoker room...The bathroom was in a very bad condition, the room was stinking from smoking. After dinner in downtown Oneonta we went to Walmart for two hours, because we didn´t want to spend the evening at this place. The next morning we discovered woodlouses an a cockroach under the heating. We showed the guy at thre reception the "animal photos" and asked him for a reduction, but he denied: "No chance!". The one and only thing we thought was: let´s get out of here. The price of 80$ for this bad place you can discribe as barefacedness. Never ever again, I´d prefer sleeping in the car next time! Stay miles away!!! Horrible!

When I got to my room, I found dirty sheets and when I showed the manager he told me to take them to a laundromat myself. I had to argue with him to get clean sheets then he complained because the last person must have spilled something on sheets. He said he doesn't change sheets in between guests if they're "clean." The room smelled bad and was not clean either. The manager kept knocking on my door late at night to ask if he can come in to have a drink with me or if I know any girls for him. If that wasn't disturbing enough, I woke up the next morning with bug bites on my face, neck, arms, and legs! I wouldn't recommend this disgusting place to an enemy. I will never go back there!!

This motel stinks and is dirty. In the room were a lot of bugs and a huge spider on the bed. The towels were dirty and smelly, yellow spots (urine?) on the linen and on the mattress... :( It was a bad decision to stay here. Absolutely not recommendable!
