Brook Pointe Resort

My husband booked this for us as a surprise getaway. It exceeded my expectations as far as a great hotel goes. The place was so clean and organized. They provide you with everything you need. The staff was nice but the lady that cooked our breakfast was amazing! She was so efficient and went above and beyond to make sure you felt cared for. She seemed to take pride in her work. The molten lava cakes were such a treat! Thank you for this great experience!

Comfortable relaxing place away from home. Rooms larger than a typical hotel room. Comfortable beds. Small couch and on top of that a large sitting area with cozy seating. Games. Choice of egg options made to order with toast or bagel. If you want meat though need to go out. We didn't so good for us. Warm chocolate chip cookies every night. Yummy. Pool but we didn't use. Exercise room needs help and machines don't function at full capacity but yet made it work to get steps in. There is some hiking that can be done around the property as well as a delightful enchanted forest. The staff is absolutely fabulous. They seem to do it all and with a good attitude. Did have a somewhat hidden amenities fee that popped up after I booked. Irritating but based on it being small on top of a very reasonable overnight stay rate, I don't feel compelled to ding this place on it.

First, I will say I did not experience any of the major concerns found in the low reviews for this place. Could it use a lot of updating aesthetically? Sure. The carpet, walls, furniture, and bathroom are older and could use upgrades, but none of it was gross or made us want to leave. They maintain what they have. The jacuzzi worked as expected and we had a nice time soaking. The front panel was pushed out a little bit, but all I had to do was push it back in place with my foot. The bed was noisy, which is our only real complaint. The sink drained slow and the toilet had minor issues, but we let the front desk know and they graciously thanked us for the update and said they would pass it along to maintenance. We did not use the pool, water massage, or breakfast so I can’t speak to that. Jill checked us in and was very kind and prompt. The lady who brought us our lava cakes was also very prompt and kind. All in all we had a nice stay. A little pricey for the aesthetic issues, but still decent price for a jacuzzi room.

Trails were fun, pool was clean. Front desk was friendly and helpful when checking in and asking questions. Unfortunately we did have bed bugs. When I took this to the front desk, at 8pm, they handed me an info sheet and didn't act like this was a rare occurrence. They did not offer another room, or to come inspect. They stated the office manager would contact me. The only contact i received was another email with info sheet. I did receive a refund, once I asked for it.

The mattress on our bed was very comfortable. Our room had a kitchenette with everything needed to prepare a meal, plus dinette table. Plenty of space in our large room. The indoor pool was very nice and had a adults only time after 10PM. A full breakfast, to include eggs to order was provided. The large outdoor grounds offered various walking opportunities and an overall peaceful atmosphere. Definitely would stay here again when in the area.

The couples rooms are Cozy and clean. The jacuzzi tubs are great for relaxing in while watching a movie. The staff is kind and very attentive. There are also walking trails with cute jokes along the way and a cute little fairy garden you can walk through. It is overall a great place to stay as a couple or with family.

It was a nice get away. Then I get a call for a promotion you won our drawing. Haha......10% off 1 night of $189. Yep no thanks I paid $189 for 2 night the first time. I can stay elsewhere for that price.

This was our third time visiting Brook Pointe and it excels every time. This visit was a romantic birthday celebration and we booked the Romantic Getaway package. The room had everything we needed. The bed very comfortable. The jacuzzi ran well. The rose petals, candles and champagne topped it off nicely. We strolled through the Enchanted Forest, walked past the zip line and family cove, then had a small fire and just enjoyed being there. As always, I had to peek into the doll house and play the table arcades. Sam always takes the time to chat and makes sure that everyone is enjoying themselves. Of course the toppers were the salt water warm pool and the water massage. Haven’t used the exercise equipment yet. Saving that for our next stay.
