You can see the river from the resort. It is in walking distance to downtown and old town. We enjoyed the walk along the waterfront. The bridges are beautiful (there are many bridges in Portland 🙂). Brandon and other people who serve in the check-in area were very professional and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay!

let's be honest, you basically come here in order to hear a timeshare presentation. I came in here for that because they recruited me for spending a wheel at a blazers game. I sat through the presentation. The food that they provided look like it was going to be better for your little snack before going into the presentation because it was from the elephant Deli... The food's not very good. The presentation it was light-hearted there was some feedback given I like the amount of engaging and then there was the presentation of the rooms which look good. afterwards it was the time for them to try to sell you on the timeshare. I was crunching the numbers and it just didn't make any sense for me to Shell out $27,000 that day and the package would have been around 60 to $90,000. every year there is a maintenance fee which is about $700. you get a certain amount of credits depending on the amount that you buy into and you get access to these special discount programs. The problem is for me. I wanted the international travel which only gives you access to these special discount programs. also, not really dog friendly on most of the American places. I tried to explain when I travel I stay with my friends and family and the woman made me stay for 20 minutes over the allowed time and I was in a hurry. I was of course interested in a cheap way to travel but with my lifestyle and this it's not for me. they said that I had to put down a deposit which they wouldn't charge me for if I didn't show up for the presentation. that turned into them giving me a gift card because they had already charged me for the deposit on my credit card and gave me a gift card for the amount that they put on my card which is going to wind up with spare change that I can't get back. I honestly don't think the 2 hours of my time with the bad food and the presentation was worth it for me.

This company is a complete pile of hot steamy garbage. I was promised a 2 night stay after going to their BS timeshare presentation but never returned my calls or emails. It's also very loud on this street.

We were able to get this hotel because we stayed a week and so we got a special deal. Overall, it was a decent experience. It is good location, but we felt in a tight bind about parking because with public parking it is a known fact that your car will get broken into and also we rented a big car so we couldn’t find parking. So we opted for the valet however I advise people plan ahead as valet is very expensive if you go to the hotel versus public parking. There is parking quite literally 50 yards away from the hotel in numerous directions. The rooms themselves are nice, but nothing like a Hilton. There was stains on the bed and when we asked for a cleaning due to some puke from one of my companions, they didn’t really get the smell out. Also, our upstairs neighbor was loud as all get out. The fire alarms are also very stingy therefore women be careful using hairspray or dry shampoo. It is located on the outskirts of the homeless community and I often see ignorant people say that, therefore is not safe. It does not mean it is not safe. It just means that people are desperate and will break into your car if you have supplies there. This does not mean they’re gonna run up on you and rob you. I have been to cities like LA and Baltimore and this place did not feel unsafe at all. However, overall the staff is very welcoming and very comforting. I felt genuinely liked and appreciated and every time I needed something they were quick to help. Directly down the street is the Saturday market and it was a blast. It’s also very close to Food and walkable to things like Powells. To me it’s less fancy but more personal/welcoming feeling.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hospitality was top notch. The room was excellent and I'd rate it in our top 3 of the WorldMarks we've stayed at! The amenities are great and everything was very clean! The location was great and felt very safe. I do wish the parking was included, but I believe that it is out of WorldMarks control, and wasn't a deal breaker by any means. I highly recommend this hotel, and will certainly be back!

Met for an afternoon tryst. Person was able to leave me a key at the front desk and staff was very nice to me. Good location and I got to film the crows gathering before moving on up the hill towards Park Blocks.

Great place to stay while you are in Portland. The rooms are spacious, the people there are kind and helpful, and the shuffleboard is a great way to wind away the last part of the evening. Every time we land at WMPW, the staff actually *remembers* us, and that's special.
