Reiske's Island View Resort

Sue is awesome and will make sure you have everything you need. Cabins are pretty typical up north lake rentals but Sue makes sure they are clean and maintained. The bar is open limited hrs. and days yet it is a very popular and energetic place. The happy hour rocks. I came in the bar not knowing anyone and left with many new friends.

Been coming here for over 20 years. Sue has continued the same great level of service she and her late husband have put into their resort for years. Consistency is what brings us back to this particular resort. Lake Nelson has great fishing. I rely on the ability to catch enough to have at least one fish fry each year...and Lake Nelson delivers just that. Awesome views of the lake and this gem in the Northwoods keep bringing me and my dad back for annual father/son fishing trips. If you are looking for a housekeeping cabin with good fishing (especially panfish) you need to plan to stay here for memories you will not forget.

I've had great stays at Reiskes for years. Nice clean cabins with beautiful views of Nelson Lake. Good fishing on that lake, bays with tall white birch and pine trees. I really love the resort.

My fam has been going here for years. I've seen deer swimming in the lake. Black bear and cub trotting around. Perfect relaxing nature get away spot.. no frills. Best priced resort on the lake..sue is awesome! Short drive to Madeline islands. Fully functional cabin. New grills to bbq...cant say enough good things. I can go on and on. Go during muskie fest or lumberjack competition

You can't find a more wonderful proprietor than Sue, she works hard to make her resort a really nice place to stay on beautiful Nelson Lake.

Have stayed here twice a week total each time, very very welcoming and peaceful resort on nelson lake! Great owners and cabins are very home feeling!

This place is magical and has romantic vibes.This is why I like staying at smaller Resorts.The staff just can't do enough for you.The activity staff of Sue Reiske and Hope the bar dog kept you busy,fit and laughing.At the lake she took extra care of everyone and at the bar.Every part of the Resort was very clean..Reiskes is a very wonderful resort you will not be disappointed.
