NillAbsolutely loved my stay at Famstel Gokarna! The location is perfect with stunning beach views and a peaceful vibe all around. The property is well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful throughout my stay. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better. If you’re visiting Gokarna, I highly recommend staying here. It’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature at its best!

NillHad a beautiful stay at Famstel. The stay is extremely aesthetic and is very close to the Beech which makes it a beautiful place to stay. The staff are all very friendly and supportive, especially Mr.Akash was quite helpful and was very approachable. This place is definitely worth recommending !

NillWe stayed here from July 18 to 20, group of 5 people. Booked one triple room and one private room through an agoda. Honestly, our stay was a bit disappointing and average. Private Room : The private room was really not in good shape. The staff in charge himself told us this room usually isn’t given to guests and only gets opened if someone books it online — which was kind of shocking. We got mislead picture posted in Agoda The toilet was clogged and hot water was available after some long delay and overall room didn’t feel properly maintained. Triple Room: The triple room was better, at least it was cleaner and a bit more comfortable. But even here, basic things were missing — especially considering we visited during the monsoon. There was no proper place to dry clothes, and only after asking multiple times (and realizing other rooms got a clothesline), we were finally given one — quite late. Staff & Check-in: Our check-in overall wasn’t smooth. We reached around 10:30 AM, while standard check-in was 12 — which is fine. But even after 12, other guests who arrived after us were given rooms before us, and we were left waiting without a proper reason. Felt a bit like we were being ignored. What bothered us even more was how the guy who is in charge, would randomly show up while we were trying to have private time — like while eating dinner, playing cards, or just sitting and chatting. Even though there were multiple other groups in the dining area, he had always approach us, try to make conversation, ask us personal questions. It happened more than once, and to be honest, it started to feel intrusive and uncomfortable. A friendly chat is fine, but it got to a point where it felt like our space was being invaded. This was probably the most off-putting part of our stay. And also we genuinely felt uncomfortable around some of the staff, especially in the common dining area. There was this constant staring, especially when we returned from the beach, crossing the reception area or were simply sitting down to eat or relax. It felt uneasy for my cousins. Also, there is a little space near dining area, which is a beach front view, when we asked for chairs sit on that particular place, they refused stating different reasons, but we noticed in more than a couple of occasions ,where other group members or guest where sitting on same spot and having their time, but no staff members questioned them. Food: Food was alright taste-wise, but overpriced and the options were limited — mostly North Indian stuff, which felt out of place in Gokarna. No proper South Indian options, and everything took 30 minutes or more to come, even basic items. The portion size also didn’t match the pricing and always trying to charge extra price from MRP rate.

NillIt's very nice to enjoy the sea view and hear the wave sound continuously. Rooms are very hygienic. Their food and hospitality is excellent. They provide bike rental also. Staying in Famstel is memorable one.

NillThe rooms were very nice and clean. Most important is having a room with a sea view. What else, one needs in a trip to Gokarna. The staffs were very helpful. I went with my 3 friends(female) and the staff and other people were very helpful and safe.

NillRecently spent few days at the awesome property, Famstel by Trippr , which offers a picturesque beachfront location . Touted as a serene getaway for solo travelers, backpackers, and free-spirited wanderers, the stay promises ocean views, boho-style stays. The biggest draw of Famstel -Gokarna is its unbeatable beachfront setting. With direct access to the shore, I enjoyed uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea, peaceful sunsets, and easy access to other less-crowded beaches. Importantly the warmth and friendliness of the onsite staff. The property manager Akshay is a well-mannered person and made sure our stay was as we thought it would be. 💯 suggested if you're seeking a rustic, low-frills beachfront experience where you can soak in nature, and enjoy the raw beauty of Gokarna.
