Hi, We stayed with our cousins / family for 2 nights, the rooms we loved as we got a full villa were whole family stayed together which was very comfortable. The hotel view was excellent, we had campfire which was also memorable one. Food was not par with what we expected. It was not provided on a timely manner, as we had to wait for more than an hour from the time confirmed to the representative. It was same for Breakfast and Dinner, also the dishes served to us on those days were not cooked well and we were not satisfied. We hope the hotel management can take care of the quality of the food served and also waiting time to be reduced. Overall our stay was comfortable.

The experience in this stay was so good that I couldnt wait to give them a glowing 5 star review. Xanadu is a class apart when it comes to hospitality and location. They're so underrated! The views are to die for from the garden view rooms. The staff is extremely courteous and the food is top notch. I would recommend this place 1000 times over any other place. Very well maintained property too. Away from the city but the city is just about 20 mins from here, so pretty accessible. The road is steep to the property so if youre confident with your hilly terrain driving skills please take your vehicle or else you get plenty of cab options from main city as well.

Pros 1. Awesome location high up above kodai in a bungalow setting 2. Food was homemade and excellent. Great for family with kids. 3. Rooms were clean and had good amenities. 4. Staff, Tilak and team were very courteous, helpful and took care of all our needs during the stay. 5. There is also a small play area for kids with tt and games. 6. Lots of in bred dogs who are very playful. If your kids like dogs then they will enjoy it even more. Improvements 1. Maybe a fan in bedrooms during unconventional hot summers maybe needed. 2. The road to bungalow needs to be wetted regularly, else it's very slippery to get up in a car. 3. If some renters are not dog friendly, they may have an issue as the dogs do roam around freely.

It is one of the best places you can stay in Kodaikanal.the rooms are very comfortable and well decorated .they have geyser ,room heater,microwave and all other home amenities which makes you feel at home .The service is beyond expectations .the cook and the attendant made sure of our needs.They prepare a large variety of breakfast and you can even ask them if you have any priority. We had dosa ,idli,sambaar ,bread and eggs ,fresh fruits and Paratha as choices for us. If you are a pet lover then they have 4 doggos to keep you company who are very friendly .They would arrange bonfire and barbeque in extra charges and it's worth it .the location is the main attraction although you have to be a skilled driver to drive up through those steep lanes. I would say if you are trying to leave the hustle bustle of the city for 2 days of calm and peace here is where you should head for

Amazing location and fantastic service. Rooms are well equipped with all services and a best blend of homestay and personalised services. Approaching road is narrow but worth once you reach at the top. Very helpful staff and also helped us with local guide. A hidden gem on top of the hill. They have three friendly and very well behaved dogs, who would give you company as they wish. Staff can converse in English, Hindi and Tamil. Food is very simple, homely and well prepared. Don’t expect lot of variety as this is homestay but chef can cook both South Indian and north Indian variety very well. Must try masla tea and South Indian breakfast. Internet is unstable and you only get bsnl mobile network and jio sometimes. We worked from this location for few days and the environment and location was apt. Must take services of local guide Surya. He took us to some amazing trails and also made some really professional videos.

A perfect holiday of Christmas and my daughter's birthday in Kodaikanal with Xanadu. Rooms are so specious and with amazing mountain view. Staff there are so friendly and service you promptly with smile always on their face. Food is amazing, served hot. One of my best holidays.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is beautiful, especially the villa with the garden view. There are friendly doggos, the view is fantastic. The service and food was amazing. I had the best idlis ever here. Beautiful places nearby to walk and explore. Quite and serene. I could sit in the garden and stare at nothing for hours. They also do BBQ and bonfire on request.

It's really a good place to be with your family away from your regular and busy routine.....I must say....good place to meditate also. Be ready to be away from the outside world...I was from my regular world and it was rejuvenation process. It feels like home and you would not feel like coming back to your regular world.... the staff there is excellent and treat you with utmost care
