Shree Guest House

Really nice place that's a short walk up the hill from the main town. We liked it because it's close enough to town but is also very quiet and peaceful. Rooms were clean, spacious, included hot water and there's also a nice outside section to sit and chill.

I really liked this hotel. It's situated at a 5 minute walk from the main square, but it's really, quiet, calm surrounded with trees. (The access is a bit sloppy , but it worth to climb !) The owner is very kind and helped us a lot. That's not a new building, but it's charming !

I had an amazing stay. I only booked for 3 days at first and after staying there, I extended for a further 3 days. The room service was good, there is always staffs available at the property. They also make good food in-house. The property location is also very good. From the stay, you just walk down 2 mins, and you are at the main square. Dalai Lama temple is just 15-20 mins walk away. Everything is close by. Lots and lots of eating outlets, shopping, etc. I'll book here again.

One of my favorite stays in my Indian trip. The rooms are really nice and comfortable, with hot water and the possibility to rend a small heater for 150 inr. The owner and the staff are really nice and friendly. I spent 8 days there and I felt at home. The location is also really nice, close to the main square but in a quiet area.

I spent just over a week here during my extended stay in McLeod. I really loved the guest house and the vibe here. Great location just out of the way from the main square so it’s quiet but still central. The staff are very nice and even make food that can be delivered to your room. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back!

Stayed at Shree for two weeks and loved it here. The location is perfect: Located in a quiet area in upper McLeod Ganj you step on the terrace and see Deodars and other trees, facing west you get the sunset. In less than a 5 minutes walk you are at the main square. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff very kind and helpful- the other guests seemed to be regulars :) Kailwood Guesthouse is run by the same owners, so you can also have tea, breakfast etc on their terrace facing east down the valley! Highly recommended
