Oak Land House

I recently stayed at Oakland House with friends during our Christmas holidays. While the rooms were comfortable, we encountered several issues that impacted our stay. There were frequent problems with the electricity, geyser, and power backup, which caused considerable inconvenience over our 3-4 day visit. Additionally, I believe the owner should consider providing a designated common room and a separate smoking area to accommodate all types of guests more comfortably. Another downside was that the beautiful mountain views were obstructed due to ongoing construction right in front of the hotel, which detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms and washroom were spacious, but the hotel service was not at all upto the mark, for our 3 days of stay our rooms were not cleaned. Even when there was electricity in the town still our room faced some technical issue which was not taken care of, due to which we were compelled to use extremely cold water for bathing. Due to the power cut we had to use the common area for charging our stuff, but it was totally used for smoking and consumptiom of alcohol, which made the stay uncomfortable for the ones who don't smoke or drink.

Everything was good, until there was power cut on the last day of our stay. We requested the owner to repair as early as possible but the reason he gave was not satisfactory. For that One day we suffered a lot as the phone battery was dead for all five of us. We couldn't get hot water nor in kettle neither geyser. Going to common area for charging purpose is not at all worthy as people there were smoking and we weren't comfortable due to so much of smoke. This leads to very uncomfortable stay for that one and half day of our trip. We request please provide better facilities to the customer for pleasant stay.

Worst experience, bahut hi vahihat jagh thi..i went with friends na light thi na hi power backup, we had stayed for 3 days and out if 3 days we stayed 2 days without lights..complaints krne par bhi koi bhi action nhi lete the, we were forced to use cold chill water, since geyser was not working properly.. if we were to go to the common area for charging our phones.. there people were smoking and there was no ventilation and it was so suffocating and uncomfortable. Not Recommended at all.. I wish there could have negative rating options so i can provide that..👎👎

This place is quite good. The rooms were neat and clean and the property is really good. I have enjoyed the stay with my friends. The people are so friendly and cooperative. Will visit again.

Great place to stay has a homely feeling and a great commonplace to hangout. The person managing the property is very hepful. Must stay once here.

I stayed at Oak land house for one night and it was awesome 👍 perfect location 👍really enjoyed vibes of old Manali. Perfect host😀
