Peacock Villa

We originally booked for two nights but extended for an extra two, deciding this little piece of heaven was the perfect place to chill before ending our trip to Kerala. The location is fantastic for a low key, no hassle stay in the area. The property was thoughtfully and beautifully laid out and curated. Everything worked as it should and it was so comfortable. The cafe was on “hiatus” during our stay but breakfast and refreshment was available and it was actually nice not to have to share the spacious communal areas! The host, Emma, was exceptional in anticipating needs and offering insights/suggestions for local eateries/ activities. A really great place to find yourself!

What a wonderful find- a really special place ! Located a few hundred yards from the beach, ( very clean and no hassles),walking distance to restaurants, grocery/snack shop / ATM. The accommodations are spotless and there are spaces to chat with other guests, the lovely host Emma, or to find a place to chill and read ( or whatever you’d like to do to enjoy some peace and quiet!). The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, functional and well appointed- every light switch worked as it should and everything needed was provided! Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was much appreciated! The host, Emma, provided local information, tips and suggestions and nothing was too much trouble! We extended our stay beyond our original plans and left rejuvenated and refreshed ( : 10/10 stay- thank you)

We fell on this lovely cafe by chance and ate here both nights we were in Marari. Food was delicious and the cake made by Emma was fabulous. We'd already booked alternative accommodation but Emma gave us a quick tour of the rooms which were spotless and looked very comfortable. Would definitely choose the Peacock cafe if we come back to Marari. Emma also sells an small selection of handmade local souvenirs very reasonably priced and I left with a couple of lovely purchases. Shopping, good food and comfy accommodation.. What more could a girl ask for!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Emma’s place! It’s just a 2-minute walk to the beautiful Marari sand beach. The villa is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with confortable beds and a charming rooftop area perfect for relaxing. The nice café in the garden adds an extra touch of charm. Emma is a warm and welcoming host who went above and beyond to make our stay special, helping with every request. We highly recommend staying with her!

What a great spot just of the beach. Great design, good atmosphere, very well kept and super food. No risk for ‘Delhi Belly’ as it is run by British standard where the Indian Chef really makes you happy with his kitchenwork. And than Emma, the owner&host 😊 Respect and compliments for what she does and has achieved here. 🙏

Emma has fabulous interior decor skills, she keeps the rooms brilliantly clean. She has employed a fabulous chef, I enjoyed several meals and coffees in her kitchen. I will return and don't hesitate and enjoy her hospitality. Thanks Emma.

Emma is a wonderful and thoughtful host. She went above and beyond. The food is fresh and delicious and the coffee (French press!) is great. The Marari area is beautiful, the people are friendly, gentle and open. The beach is a 1 minute walk away, there is an amazing corner store 30 second walk away, there are good restaurants, and the area is quiet and not overrun with tourists. We loved our stay. Lovely place to stay. What I really love about the place is it's simplicity and awesome beauty. Emma was such a great host and I stayed here with my family. Marari beach was calm, lovely and peace assured. The beach is just a 2 minute walk from Peacock Villa and Art Cafe. I would like to thank Anil and Emma for serving us the tasty dishes and appreciate their superb hospitality. My daughters loved the stay and would recommend it as a must visit place in Marari.
