It was one of the best places I stayed in Kerala. It is a heritage house converted into a homestay. The staff was so helpful. One of the staff helped me to go to Padmanabhaswamy Temple and gave all the best suggestion in the city.Even though it is an old property. It has all the amenities required by the traveler. I request to the property owner. please keep the property as it is. It looks so beautiful like this.

Excellent place to stay if on budget. Neat and clean. I opted for shared room with 4 beds. Non smoking policy hence the bad smell of cigarettes smoke does not linger . Onlyn downside is toilet and bath is outside and shared. Also it is combined and small. No hot water in bathroom can getba bucket on request. Overall if travelling alone and don't mind sharing bathroom this is a great place. Location is central but still quiet.

Quite friendly staff. Very cooperative and assisted with all needs. Amount charged for bunk-beds is reasonable, and accommodations are fairly clean. Wifi included in pricing. The UAE Consulate is just a few minutes away, walking distance, and the main road has a variety of shops for food and snacks. Overall, a pretty good experience 🙂

Satisfactory basic accommodation. Stayed in dormitory 4 bedded. My only concern was the outside shower room and toilet. Not good for night visits having to walk around the outside of the building. Managers were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Busy location with taxi, buses and local shops.

Could not recommend this place more highly!||- Hostel is so clean||- Perfect location: With lots of great Veg. Indian food in walking distance||- Friendly staff: Owner helped me set up a local SIM card... amazing guy ||- And 400Rp a night!! ||||It’s a must stay :)) ||||All the best,||Leon

With no hostels in trivandrum this is the only place with bunk beds for solo travellers. Location is great, however the vibe isn't great with this not being a hostel. Sort of place to drop your bag and head out and come back to sleep.

Full value for money. Neat and clean friendly people and atmosphere . One of the best of it's kind thoroughly enjoyed. Would love to come back with my family again. Only problem is charging ports are not at place Thank you sanora made me feel home .

I had been here with my family on an emergency basis since there was a unforeseen situation I had with booking at Capital Comfort ( review given ) .|I had booked this homestay for 2 days from 30 th Dec 2018 afternoon till 1st Jan 2019 afternoon.|Booking was done over phone while travelling on train on 29th December 2018 . I thank them for considering the booking , advance was paid very next day morning for confirming the booking.|I had been to Guruvayoor on 30 th and reached Trivandrum on 31st Morning 5.45 am.|They had a standard check in and check out time nominally as followed in other places i.e., 12 noon which can be extended upto 1 pm for check out.|The room given was spacious enough for our family of four including two kids.||There is no food service , if we require hot water for drinking the support staff told it can be arranged from hotel outside !!!||Eventually we expect necessary basic things if we call it as a homestay.||Further if we need to switch on the AC or Geyser we have to literally come to front desk and search for support staff to switch on ( control is with front desk ).||One more point is if we need to use AC then Geyser should be switched off and vice versa. So every time I need to come to front desk in search of supporting staff.||We faced issue with cockroaches and lizards in the night , ofcourse it is difficult to manage we understand but sometimes we too expect some basic maintenance when we are paying for good.||My main idea of visiting Trivandrum was to have Darshan of Lord Padmanabha on 1st Jan at morning 3.30.|Therefore we had to take bath by 2 am and leave early. But since the front desk person was in deep asleep we could not wake him up leaving us to take bath in Cold water including my kids.|( Now my son has landed up with fever and cold ).||I just confirmed that there was no booking done to the room for the next day where we stayed by checking online , therefore requested the front desk to accomodate for an additional time upto 3 pm since we had to go out ( for which I was ready to pay additional ) But the staff told that the room is booked!!!||When I replied that I have checked infront of him online and found it to be free. The staff said it has been booked over phone and they cannot allow. They can retain the bags out of the room and we can refresh at backyard.But if required we can keep the key for which they wanted me to be back by 1 pm.||This annoyed me , therefore we packed all our belongings by 10.30 am , handed over the key at 10.45 AM to supporting staff and proceeded for outing.||At 2 pm the service staff called me and asked it's already time , what to be done with our bags. I clearly replied to take it out and made them clear that I have handed over the key at 10.45 am itself.||After returning back by 3.30 pm we found the room under lock and our belongings retained in another room. |We refreshed at backyard , payed rest amount and headed towards Kochuveli to catch our train back to Bangalore.||Decided not to be back again here to Sanora Holidays.|||
