STANDARD STAY

I recently stayed at Standard Stay and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. One of the staff members, Malavika, was extremely unprofessional, which really affected our overall mood during the stay. There were several issues with the amenities – no heater was provided, the AC didn’t work properly, and the blankets were insufficient for comfort. On top of that, the service was poor, and we felt there was a lack of basic hospitality. We were also charged extra without clear justification. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a frustrating experience, and I genuinely hope others don’t have to go through the same.

Recently we stayed at standard stay . Unprofessional behavior of staff malaviaka spoiled our mood . No heater facility, no proper AC functioning, no proper banket. Please for God's sake don't go there i wouldn't recommend to my enemy also . Very bad service and zero hospitality. They will charge you extra somehow.

No water heater, bad blankets and local towels. It is not a good experience with the basic amendment. They are providing an Emulsion rod where there is no plug point in the room. But the room location, balcony and garden and walking area is awesome. They have to improve lot in the basic things and service.

Very helpful staff and room was cleaned when asked. Group bookings made it quite disturbing a few nights. Location perfect and scooter rental possible directly from them. We would stay again.

Not worth your money.they scammed us made uspay extra 500 rps saying we had checked in early. They said they MADE their guests leave early cause we were about to check in which we were not aware of.The flush wasn't working.it had a metal sheet as it's room.we were devastated cause of the heat .It had one table fan which wasn't even working properly.service was bad .The staff was rude and arrogant .Her attitude towards us was totally wrong.very bad experience .room service was poor poor poor.we paid 1500 rps here .checked out and went to a better stay.WE COULD GET A BETTER PLACE IN VARKALA FOR 1500 RPS . Very bad experience

Room is spacious, but restrooms are worst not maintained well. we have to take care of putting AC to work or light to work. Vehicle renting is worst beacuse of them our day got wasted. Malavika behaved rude. not responding well. Before booking they showed some pool and good photos which are photos of surrounding resorts not their own.

Poor customer service, infact had a very humiliating experience. I had stayed there with my cousin,i would never recommend this place to anyone, because their approach is very unprofessional and humiliating. During our stay ,at first ,a room was allotted to us  which was a spacious room with attached bathroom, we made ourselves comfortable after a long journey, spreaded our luggage and after sometime they knocked on the door and told us Airconditioner in this room will be not working, due to their fault, as it got dripped when they tried to switch on heater  in another room causing short Circuit and some work need to be done to restore it , they assured they will be alotting us to the same room once it is corrected and persuaded us to shift to adjacent room meanwhile, reluctantly we shifted to other room , we had  reminded them to give the same room once it is fixed ,and we waited. Just as we were escorted out of the room to adjacent room , we saw them accomodating new guests to the same room , right infront of our eyes, which was humiliating and disgusting . The story about electricity drip and non-functioning of Ac was only a tactic to get us removed from that room and alotted the same room to some other customer in the split of seconds. If you can't systematically run a stay place better don't do it. They don't even know about the basic decency and professionalism to be maintained . Very disappointed. It is is such a disgrace that you forcefully tried to remove us to another room despite our reluctance giving false assurance and then alotting it to other customer, leaving us to adjust with the lesser amenities in the second room alloted. We are not asking for any favours, we paid straight the full money demanded by you and  is this how you gave back your service? Better do some other job if you don't know how to run a place and give proper services to customers to their satisfaction. And don't ever try Humiliate any other customers for your lack of integrity and unprofessionalism
