Love this place. Perfect location near the main Ghat. Clean room with AC and 24/7 hot water! Shiva and his brother Kailash are excellents hosts. And Shiva’s breakfast and diners are very tastfull. We loved to chat with them. Shiva is a good story teller and has good knowledge about Varanasi. Totally recommend to visit Shiva Guesthouse!

Nice GH, 2 minutes away from the ghats by foot with very caring and friendly staff.||The owners are 2 brothers who will make sure your trip is perfect. They arranged pick-up from and to the airport (I need to point out the driver drove very safely) and boat trip on the river in the morning.||Room was a little old overall but ok. Toilet paper and towels were available.||Food options are available on the rooftop. I loved taking the breakfast there.||Overall a great experience. 100% recommanded.

We just had the best time in Shiva guest house! The owners, two brothers, are the kindest men. They gave us a room after check out to chill, shower and leave our bags while exploring more of Varanasi; organised us breakfast for local prices, and had a guy at hand to give us a boat tour on the Ganges very early in the morning. The rooms where perfect with comfy beds and fans/AC. The roof top terrace offers a wonderful view on the Ganges - just heed the owners warning and beware the monkeys!!|Thanks for the great time in Varanasi from Germany!

This was one of my favourite hotels I have stayed in. |It feels like home with cute, cosy and clean rooms.|The owners are such good people and now friends too. The food is amazing here - I ate most of my meals here during my visit. And also great people staying too, not just young backpackers. Everything about this place is perfect!

Stayed there for whole two weeks. Was a fantastic stay, from beginning to end. Clean and cozy rooms, and in great (!) location which is both close to the Ghat and super easy to find (which is quite a rare find in a place like Varanasi). The whole place is run by a decent, reliable, warm and kind people that really make you feel at home. In short- highly recommended and great value for money!

Fabulous location. The manager very welcoming and a superb friendly staff. A very homely, family feeling place. Restaurant is excellent and breakfast superb with great choice on the menu too. Rooms are very clean and spacious in an old renovated building.

I had the most amazing experience at Shiva Guest House in May. I stayed there for 3 nights with 2 of my girlfriends. 3 girls travelling India alone for the first time, but the owner Shiv and his family made us feel completely at home and safe. They showed us around and helped us orient our way so that we could have the most productive trip with the 3 days we had. The location is stunning, step away from the ghat. The rooftop patio overlooks the entire city and the river ganga. Overall, this is one of the best hostel facilities I've stayed at, in a great location that shows you the true Varanasi experience. would definitely recommend it.

third time in Varanasi. This is the third time we have stayed at this house. Siva and Kailash are wonderful caring people. They help, they care, they cook delicious food. Will definitely come back here next time I'm in Varanasi. I am very grateful to Siva, Kailash and siva guest house.||||all are clear||wifi||food||hot water||nice view||AC||||thanks!
