KANHA PAYING GUEST HOUSE,VARANASI

Whenever I think of 'Kashi', I am reminded of the wonderful experience I had at 'The Kanha Paying Guest House'. The hospitality provided by Mr. Rahul and his team was simply exquisite. Their friendliness and warmth made my stay all the more enjoyable. I would rate their room service, accessibility and hospitality as a perfect 10/10. Everything was top-notch and I couldn't have asked for more.

We stayed at Kanha guesthouse for 4 nights as a couple. This place is located in the little alleyways behind the Vishwanath temple and close to Dasashwamedh Ghat. It is central to most places once you find your way and get used to it. If you want to experience real varansi then you have to stay in the alleyways and walk the lanes. This place is just perfect for that. Being close to temple, you will find pilgrims all around and that adds a great vibe to the whole place. |||| The owner Rahul is a very nice gentleman and is very helpful in guiding visitors. He helped us with walking tours, boat rides, sarnath visit etc. He also got us the famous Kachori puri breakfast and served us during our stay. The room was clean along with bed linens and pillow covers/ blankets. It had attached bathroom which was average but had a geyser for 24 hours hot water which is a bliss in winter. The Wi-Fi was patchy at times but overall it was fine. ||||Overall, Kanha is a no-frills clean and centrally located guesthouse with all the necessary facilities required for a comfortable stay. Definitely stay here if you want to experience real Varanasi.

The guesthouse is lovely on a great location in a quiet alley close to nice markets, the most famous temple and of course the river. The host is friendly, passionate and flexible, offers tours and advice if you need it but is not pushy if you decide to plan your own trips. The room is very nice, bathroom and shower a bit older but very clean and light. We recommend to stay here if you want a nice place for a reasonable price.

I felt like my own home in this spiritual place. Owner, Mr.Rahul and Ravi are wonderful people. They really take good care of us. They prepared breakfast according to our taste. Really thankful for them. Arranged tour according to our needs. We don’t feel exhausted, it created tireless trip for our family. |We really satisfied with the room we stayed for 5 days. |We felt like local people during our stay there, we blend ourselves very well. |Thank you Rahul and Ravi; surely won’t happen without both of you.

We enjoyed our stay with Raxul and family. He cooked dinner and breakfast for us and it was terrific. He also arranged a temple tour through his assistant, Ravi,. changed money for us, and answered all of our questions about the area. The room was quiet despite being in a very busy area with much walking traffic. We highly recommend this guest house!

Enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The hosts were very helpful with arranging train tickets and had some great and honoust advice for travelling through varanasi. Very happy to have been here! We recommend this place to anyone. Also nice and 'quiet' shopping area.

Stayed here solo and was treated with great care. Owner and his family are very kind and helpful. Spotlessly clean, spacious room and comfortable bed. Hot water in large, private bathroom. Tasty omelette for breakfast. Would recommend and stay here again for sure!

Great host, very friendly, speaks fluent English, will take care of you if you need anything. The rooms are simple but everything was clean and decent. Water is warm at best to shower. WiFi is good.
