Riverside Palm Homestay with Terrace Access near Kamakhya/IHR

Undoubtedly one of the best homestay experiences I've received. Very systematic, clean, cozy rooms. Open terrace with hill view makes the stay calm. The host is very helpful, gentle and kind. The location is also very good. All the necessary requirements are available nearby. A perfect homestay.

Clean rooms with necessary amenities. It's in a residential area. Grocery shops and vegetables shops are available nearby. It's a college area also. So there are some good fast food joints available. It's near to the Maa Kamakhya Temple. Easily available uber or repido service. The host is very gentle and helpful. Overall the place is really good.

Excellent place to stay. Very neat and clean room. Lovely views of the hills around. Easily accessible to bus stand and other areas.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this homestay. The room was cosy and comfortable. All necessary requirements were also provided which made us feel at home. Overall it was a perfect home for a short stay. The host was also super hospitable and friendly . We hope and look forward to stay even in our next visit .

We had an amazing stay, our host Nurjahan showed excellent hospitality to us during our stay. She went beyond our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable experience by providing us with sumptuous and delicious Assamese style homecooked food that allowed us, first time visitors to Assam, to appreciate the local cuisine in a affordable and safe manner due to her emphasis on cleanliness amd provision of fresh food (bought or obtained from her garden, and prepared on the day of request itself). Rooms were spacious and clean and with it's proximity to Kamakhya temple being approximately a 15 minute journey by car, and around 30-40 minutes away from other religious locations and tourist attractions such as Umananda temple and Dipor Lake, it was convenient for us to arrange transport to such places at an affordable rate. Will highly recommend all travellers, especially first time visitors, to consider a stay at this residence under Mrs. Nurjahan during their visit to Guwahati.
